What this video is
A Story Video is a narrated short made from images, captions, and voice-over. It is a good fit for mini dramas, scary stories, emotional stories, and plot twists.
Who this is for
Use Story when you want a full beginning-middle-end video without learning traditional editing software.
What you do
- Choose a story idea, or leave it blank and let us come up with one.
- Pick the visual style and slide count.
- Optionally add reference images, logo guidance, reused characters, or an outro idea.
- Review the result and render when you are happy with it.
What we do for you
- Write the story script and break it into scenes.
- Create a consistent look for characters and slides.
- Generate narration, captions, and timings.
- Render the final vertical video.
Steps (simple)
- Name your video
Give it a name so you can find it later. - Script
Generate the story, then rewrite or edit it if needed. This is also where you can add story references, logo notes, and optional outro instructions. - Character sheet
Create or choose the character look so faces and outfits stay consistent across the video. - Slides
Generate the images for each part of the story. If you are using an outro, you can also set that up here. - Voice
Create the narration for the story. - Captions + timings
We line up the captions and slides so the story plays in sync, and the new timings save automatically after transcription finishes. - Animate slides (optional)
Turn selected still slides into short moving shots. These clips are generated silently, and the narration is added later in the final video. - Caption styling
Choose the caption look and optional background music. - Review and render
Check the final draft, then render the finished video and download it when ready.
One-click create (optional)
On Step 1, you can choose One-click create to make a Story Video automatically.
To keep it truly one click, optional settings are hidden at first. Click Options if you want to change anything.
- Story idea (optional) — leave blank and we pick one for you.
- Slides (optional) — 12 by default.
- Story type (optional) — Dialogue by default.
- Visual style (optional) — choose the look you want from the preview images.
- Music (optional) — choose a track in a modal with search, mood filters, favorites, and upload.
- Reuse previous characters (optional) — keep characters from an older Story video.
- Reference images (optional) — upload images for logos, mascots, products, or style guidance.
- Reference instructions (optional) — tell us where and how to use those references.
- Preview only (optional) — stops before the final render so you can render later.
When you provide references, we try to use them where they make sense instead of forcing them into every scene.
You will always see an Estimated cost before you start.
If you reuse previous characters, you can choose what kind of story you want:
- Continue the story (series) — the next part of the same story.
- Similar story — a standalone new episode with the same characters/world vibe (not a continuation of the previous plot).
- New story — completely different story (same characters only).
After you start One-click create, we send you to My Library and show progress. It usually takes about 10 minutes.
If progress looks stuck, open the video from My Library and continue from the step that needs attention.
Advanced option: API
You can also create Story Videos with an API call:
