Ranking Video – Simple step-by-step guide

What this video is

A Ranking Video is a Top 5 style video. It shows a title and ranked items on screen while clips play.

Ranking Videos do not have narration.

Free plan

You can make 1 full Ranking video each day on the free plan.

• Free works in manual mode and one-click mode.
• Free uses built-in clips. Uploads need a paid plan.
• Free rendered Ranking videos include a small Trending watermark. Paid plans remove it.
• Email signups must verify their email before using the free plan.

What you do

• Pick a topic or category (optional).
• Pick 5 clips (one clip per rank). Free users use built-in clips. Paid users can also use uploads.
• Enter the rank items (like #1 to #5).
• Pick overlay styles and preview.

• Help you organize clips into a clean Top 5 flow.
• Build the title and ranking overlays.
• Preview the look before rendering.
• Render the final vertical video.

Steps (simple)

1. Name your video
   Give it a name for your library.
2. Pick clips
   Choose 5 clips first. Use the Play/Pause button to preview clips, and on mobile a sticky footer shows how many clips are selected and how many remain.
3. Rank info
   Set #1 to #5 and what each rank says.
4. Styles and preview
   Pick fonts/colors and preview.
5. Review and render
   Render the video. Once it starts, pick a generated title and review the description. After it finishes, download or render again.

One-click create (optional)

On Step 1, you can choose One-click create to make a Ranking Video automatically.

To keep it truly one click, the optional settings are hidden at first. Click Options (the tune icon) if you want to change anything.

• Category (optional) — leave blank for random.
• Preview only (optional) — stops before the final render so you can render later.

You will also see an Estimated cost before you start.

After you start One-click create, we send you to My Library and show progress. It usually takes about 10 minutes.

On the free plan, your daily pass is for the full rendered Ranking video. Preview-only does not use that daily pass.

You can also create Ranking Videos with an API call:

• POST /api/v1/ranking/videos — start a Ranking Video
• GET /api/v1/ranking/videos/{video_id} — check status and get a temporary download link when ready
