What this video is
A Did You Know Video is a short, punchy fact video. It is designed for fast attention and quick retention.
What you do
- Pick a topic (or leave it blank and we will pick one).
- Choose a voice style (optional).
- Pick 1+ background clips (they can be short).
- Pick caption style and (optional) ending options.
What we do for you
- Write a short script with a strong hook.
- Create narration and timed captions.
- Stitch your background clips so the total covers the narration.
- Optionally add an exit clip after the main narration.
Steps (simple)
- Name your video
Pick a name you will remember. - Script
We generate the short fact script. You can edit it. - Voice
We create narration. - Pick background clips
Select 1+ clips until their total duration covers the narration. Use the Play/Pause button to preview clips, and on mobile a sticky footer shows how many clips are selected and how many remain. - Arrange backgrounds
Reorder the clips (to remove a clip, go back to the previous step). - Captions, music, and exit clip
Pick caption style, optionally add background music, and optionally add an ending clip. - Review and render
Render the video. Once it starts, pick a generated title and review the description. After it finishes, download or render again.
One-click create (optional)
On Step 1, you can choose One-click create to make a Did You Know Video automatically.
To keep it truly one click, the optional settings are hidden at first. Click Options (the tune icon) if you want to change anything.
- Topic (optional) — leave blank and we pick one for you.
- Voice (optional) — Adam is the default.
- Music (optional) — choose a track in a modal with search, mood filters, favorites, and upload.
- Exit clip (optional) — disabled by default, but you can enable it.
- Preview only (optional) — stops before the final render so you can render later.
You will also see an Estimated cost before you start.
After you start One-click create, we send you to My Library and show progress. It usually takes about 10 minutes.
API (for developers)
You can also create Did You Know Videos with an API call:
POST /api/v1/didyouknow/videos— start a Did You Know VideoGET /api/v1/didyouknow/videos/{video_id}— check status and get a temporary download link when ready
