Baron Davis, former NBA star, shares a startling revelation about his experience with legendary coach Mike Krzyzewski, commonly known as Coach K. In a recent video, Davis opens up about feeling shunned by Coach K during the Olympic tryouts, despite his impressive performance stats.

Davis, who was averaging an impressive 23 points and 8 assists at the time, was bewildered by his exclusion from the tryouts. "I always felt like Coach K would hate on me, and I was right about that," Davis stated. When questioned about why he believed this, Davis bluntly responded, "Because he hated on me."

The exclusion from the Olympic tryouts left Davis questioning the selection process. "Name 30 people better than me, okay, name 12, name four guards better than me," he challenged. The root of this perceived bias, Davis suggests, could be his choice to attend UCLA over Duke. "Absolutely, he wrote about it in his book," Davis asserted, hinting at a long-standing grudge.

Davis expressed his frustration further by comparing himself to those who were invited. "Every mother that got invited was sorry. Guards like Luke Rowe got invited, and he was weak as you know," Davis remarked, though he did acknowledge Rowe's skills respectfully, stating, "I respect his game, I think Luke Rowe was a good player."

Adding to the tension, Davis mentioned NBA star Kyrie Irving, who recently expressed his own competitive sentiments. "Kyrie recently just said that I'll be cheering them on, but I just remember the days when we had to go play against each other," Davis quoted. He emphasized the depth of talent in the league, suggesting that there are "100 dudes in the league that deserve to all be in the gym together" to truly determine the best players.
