In a delightful blend of humor and biblical reference, artist Brian Wonderful has crafted a four-panel comic strip titled 'Jesus, Take The Wheel' that has captured the imagination of Reddit users. Known for his wit and creativity, Brian Wonderful has once again delivered a piece that resonates deeply while eliciting chuckles.

The comic strip begins with a light-skinned individual sporting short blonde hair and a green shirt, clasping their hands with a serene smile. The text above reads, "I'm going to let Jesus take the wheel." This sets the stage for a modern interpretation of a well-known phrase.

In the second panel, the character is seen standing behind a large game show-style spinning wheel. They are accompanied by another figure, drawn to resemble Jesus, who has darker skin and is adorned in a white robe and head covering. Both figures are smiling, adding to the light-hearted mood of the strip.

The third panel zooms in on the spinning wheel, which lands decisively on a section labeled "BANKRUPT" in bold black letters. Other sections of the wheel display various dollar amounts like "900" and "600," heightening the suspense and eventual irony of the outcome.

The final panel reveals the characters' reactions. The person in the green shirt looks genuinely surprised, while the figure resembling Jesus speaks a poignant quote from Matthew 19:24: "And again I say unto you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the Kingdom of God." This biblical reference cleverly ties the comic's modern scenario back to timeless wisdom.

Comments on Reddit reflect the comic's impact, with users adding their humorous takes on the situation. One user quipped, "He should have asked prosperity gospel Jesus, not regular Jesus." Another commented, "The drawing of Jesus about to spin the wheel makes me chuckle. Good comic." The engaging discussion highlights how Brian Wonderful's work has struck a chord with many.

The comic strip, complete with credits and social media handles for the artist, is a reminder of the power of humor and creativity in conveying deeper messages. It brings together elements of pop culture and scripture, offering a fresh perspective on age-old teachings.

A very rich man could commission a giant needle that a camel could pass through the eye of very very easily.

No matter the translation the point stands it's harder for a rich man to get into heaven than it is for some impossible task to happen.

He should have asked prosperity gospel Jesus, not regular Jesus.

Jesus: "Love your neighbor as yourself. Whatever you do for the poorest of my brethren, you do for me. It is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to get into heaven." Christians for the next 2000 years: "So... here are some reasons we came up with why he didn't really mean that."

The drawing of Jesus about to spin the wheel makes me chuckle. Good comic.

I'm not sure why but I find the thought of Jesus not actually spinning the wheel but just grabbing it a carefully, deliberately moving it directly to bankrupt (while making eye contact with the contestant?) quite the funny thought.

Who ever became rich after winning wheel of fortune? I thought it was just a nice boost in income. Hardly enough to retire and live without money worries.
