In the world of dating, people have different standards and criteria when it comes to finding the perfect partner. A recent comic strip shared on Reddit perfectly captures this sentiment, showcasing the humorous perspective of two men discussing their dating experiences.

The comic strip, created by @jonwritescomedy, @dlv.art, and @JustJonComic, features two men seated across from each other at a small cafe table. One man, wearing a gray T-shirt, asks the other about his recent date. The response? "Great! She ticks all the boxes."

The second panel zooms in on a checklist titled "What I look for in a partner." To everyone's amusement, there is only one item listed with a check mark beside it: "Woman."

The simplicity of the checklist sparks a range of reactions from viewers. Some find it whimsical, while others question the man's dating standards. User comments on the Reddit post reflect the diverse opinions surrounding this comic strip.

One user jestingly suggests adding "alive" to the checklist, showcasing the humor in the situation. Meanwhile, another user compares women's approach to dating to buying a car, emphasizing the different perspectives between genders.

The comic strip also evokes references to famous personalities. Comedian Jo Brand once humorously remarked, "so t*** and a v***** then," shedding light on the various criteria people have when choosing a partner. Additionally, the mention of Northernlion sparks curiosity about his views on dating standards.

The image's caption and comments highlight the challenges and frustrations people face in the dating world. Some express feelings of hopelessness, while others emphasize the importance of self-respect and avoiding desperation. It's clear that dating standards vary greatly among individuals, and this comic strip provides an amusing glimpse into this reality.

So, what can we take away from this lighthearted comic strip? It serves as a reminder that everyone has their own unique preferences and criteria when it comes to finding a partner. While some may have a long list of requirements, others may prioritize simplicity. In the end, it's important to approach dating with an open mind, a sense of humor, and a willingness to embrace the unexpected.

Remember, love can be found in the most unexpected places, and sometimes, it's the person who doesn't necessarily tick all the boxes that turns out to be the perfect match. Happy dating!

I would have added "alive" but that's just me.

"I think most women look at sex like buying a car. You know, like, "Can I see myself in this long term?" "Is it safe?" "Is it reliable?" "Could it kill me?" Most guys look at sex like parking a car. We're like, "There's a spot". "There is another spot, that would work." "Oh, I have to pay? - Never mind." "Handicapped? - Hope no one sees us." https://www.imdb.com/title/tt7286456/characters/nm6421600

God, reddit makes me feel so f***ing hopeless lol. Whenever I go on reddit half the posts I see are about how difficult dating is for young guys. It makes me feel a little hopeless about my own chances at finding love. I have to keep reminding myself that I’m young and have my whole life ahead of me.
