In a thrilling three-panel comic strip titled "WE'RE OUT OF CORNFLAKES" by WEDEKING, we are taken on a journey to an alien planet where two astronauts find themselves in a dire situation. The image depicts a dark blue sky and a purple land surface, setting the stage for an otherworldly adventure.

In the first panel, we see the two astronauts, stranded and exhausted. One astronaut stands while the other sits, their faces reflecting a mix of determination and despair. The speech bubbles above them reveal the gravity of their predicament. "Since the ship exploded, we must have walked 20 miles looking for help," one astronaut says. The other chimes in, "We've got less than 5 minutes of air left." The countdown begins, and the tension builds.

As we move to the second panel, the seated astronaut looks down, their hope fading. The standing astronaut points towards a distant cliff, suggesting a possible path to salvation. But the seated astronaut, overwhelmed by the seemingly insurmountable odds, questions, "Should we check over that cliff?" The response is disheartening, "Aw, what's the point?" It's a moment of resignation, capturing the feeling of hope slipping away.

In the final panel, the perspective shifts to reveal the other side of the cliff. The two astronauts, seen from behind, are hunched over in despair. But what lies just beyond their sight is a striking contrast to their desolation. Below the cliff, a vibrant town named "OXYGENVILLE" comes into view. Signs boldly proclaim, "HUMANS GET IN FREE" and "FREE ICE CREAM FOR HUMANS." Alien creatures roam the streets, exuding joy and vitality. Colorful plants and peculiar rock formations create a visually stunning backdrop. It's a scene br****** with life, a stark juxtaposition to the astronauts' dire circumstances.

The image resonates on multiple levels. It serves as a metaphor for unexpected opportunities and the importance of perseverance. The astronauts, on the verge of giving up, are oblivious to the oasis of Oxygenville just a few steps away. It reminds us of the fragility of hope and the need to keep pushing forward, even in the face of seemingly insurmountable obstacles.

The Reddit community has been buzzing with reactions to this thought-provoking comic strip. Some users express skepticism, questioning the feasibility of the astronauts reaching safety in just five minutes. Others draw parallels to popular culture, likening the image to the suspenseful movie "The Mist" or the iconic series "The Twilight Zone." Humor finds its way into the comments as well, with one user playfully noting that the comic strip resembles the work of a talented 14-year-old using MS Paint.

The image also sparks discussions on the nature of gambling, with a user humorously pointing out that "90% of gamblers quit right before hitting the jackpot." Another user jokingly consults Admiral Ackbar, the renowned character from the "Star Wars" franchise, who famously warns, "It's a trap." The sentiment is echoed by others who believe that the vibrant town of Oxygenville might be too good to be true.

As we marvel at the creativity and depth of this comic strip, we are reminded of the power of visual storytelling. "WE'RE OUT OF CORNFLAKES" takes us on a rollercoaster of emotions, urging us to reflect on the fragility of hope, the perils of giving up too soon, and the hidden opportunities that await us just beyond our sight. So take a deep breath, and embrace the journey of the stranded astronauts as they race against time to find salvation in a world filled with free entry and free ice cream.

Wouldn't it take longer than five minutes to get down that cliff?

Maybe I’m just cynical, but this seems like a trap. Maybe they’re better off dying of oxygen deprivation than falling prey to aliens with an appetite for ice cream-fattened humans.

not to sound like a d*** but why do these comics always look like they're made in MS paint by a 14 year old? (I was joking when writing this but upon closer inspection, this is 100% made in MS paint) seriously, not even the panel's are the correct sizes. they're all different sizes lol. these comics dont work without a distinctive artstyle imo.
