In a thought-provoking four-panel comic strip, the age-old question of whether hunting can truly be considered a sport is brilliantly explored. This captivating image, created by the talented artist at BONUS CONTEXT, challenges our perception of what defines a sport and delves into the concept of fairness and equality within this controversial activity.

The comic strip opens with the words, "I'VE HEARD IT SAID THAT HUNTING IS NOT A SPORT. IN A SPORT, BOTH SIDES SHOULD KNOW THEY'RE PLAYING THE GAME." As we gaze upon the grassy green field and the two deer heads peering out from the bushes, we can't help but feel the curiosity and quizzical expression of the left deer.

Zooming in slightly on the deer in the second panel, it continues its musings, stating, "I GUESS THE POINT IS THAT SPORT IS SUPPOSED TO BE ABOUT FAIRNESS AND EQUALITY." The other deer responds with a simple speech bubble containing the word, "MAKES SENSE," emphasizing the contemplative nature of the conversation.

As the third panel zooms out to the original view, the first deer takes a more serious and assertive stance, proposing, "SO, LET'S NOT CALL IT A SPORT?" Directly locking eyes with the other deer, its expression conveys a determination to challenge the traditional idea of hunting as a sport.

The final panel presents a surprising twist. The second deer, now holding a rifle, wholeheartedly agrees with the proposition, saying, "AGREED." This unexpected endorsement is accompanied by a nod or gesture of concurrence, leaving us pondering the complex dynamics of hunting and its place within the realm of sports.

The profound message conveyed in this comic strip invites us to question our preconceived notions and engage in a deeper discussion about the nature of hunting. It challenges us to consider the elements of fairness and equality that are often associated with sports and whether they can be applied to this controversial activity.

While opinions may differ, the image reminds us that hunting holds multifaceted perspectives. Well Well Well how the turn tables

So, without hunters you will soon see an overpop of undesirable species that are now considered invasive. Feral pigs, feral horses, feral large snakes are destroying the NA ecosystem every bit as much as humans do. The numbers of hunters are thinning out so much that the government has to hire hunters to cull - read indiscriminately kill - overpops of several species. Not all hunting or hunters are bad. And the sporting part are the hunters that track, not the ambush hunters. To me at least.

It is sport for hunters. not preys. Like soccer is not sport for ball.

Could CQC be a sport? Imagine the battle of Gaza being on Fox Sports.

Hunting should not be seen as a sport. My family and ancestors hunted to put food on the table. If you can afford to buy meat, then you've no valid reason to hunt and kill for it. Hunting for sport is an ugly thing.
