In a recent video, Lady Gaga showcased her signature wit and confidence when addressing a long-standing rumor. During a stage performance, she was confronted with the speculation that she has a male appendage and might be a hermaphrodite. Gaga's response was nothing short of iconic, "Maybe I do. Would it be so terrible?"

Instead of issuing a denial like many artists might, Lady Gaga chose to tackle the rumor head-on with humor and nonchalance. She explained, "Why the hell am I going to waste my time and give a press release about whether or not I have a p****? My fans don't care and neither do I."

This attitude resonates with many of her fans, drawing comparisons to Daniel Radcliffe's approach to rumors about his sexuality. Radcliffe famously said he didn't address such rumors because he didn't want to imply that being gay is something negative that needs denial.

Fans have praised her for this empowering stance. One user remarked, "First of all, awesome response. Secondly, it has no bearing on her art, so what's even the point!?" Another added, "Fun Fact: Lady Gaga owns Frank Zappa's former home and studio. I have to think he would be pleased to know that."

Her impressive answer also prompted reflections on her past, with one fan noting, "She also got bullied heavily in school and college, so these could just be nasty rumors of the past that she refuses to let affect her life anymore. Which is awesome to be able to stand up for everyone, while still being yourself."

Lady Gaga's interaction with Tony Bennett was also highlighted by fans, showcasing her multifaceted talent and immense heart. One user shared, "I had never listened to her music until I saw her with Tony Bennett, and I knew she was not only smart and talented but she's got a heart that outstrips both."

Her ability to maintain eye contact and her unapologetic demeanor during the interview were also praised. One comment read, "Keeps eye contact at all times too," while another expressed, "I love her 'The f*** you gonna do about it?' expression in the end."

In a world where public figures often feel pressured to address every rumor, Lady Gaga's approach is refreshing and empowering. Her fans appreciate her authenticity and humor, proving once again why she remains a beloved icon in the entertainment industry.

Similar to Daniel Radcliff's non-response to rumors he is gay. IIRC, he said he didn't address it because he didn't want to give any impression that being gay is something bad that needed to be denied.

Calling someone on your show and asking them about their downstairs mix up is super weird.

I wish all of society was like that, all that should matter is your ability to perform a task, be it entertaining, warfare, or anything in between. Sex, gender, sexuality, skin tone, religion, etc mean nothing in the grand scheme of things.
