In a delightful video titled "When your food bowl is empty and the stupid human locked themself out again" on Imgur, viewers are treated to an extraordinary display of feline ingenuity. The video captures a cat's remarkable efforts to help its owner get back inside the house after being locked out. The transcript of the video reveals the anxious and humorous commands given to the cat, such as "Stick! Move the stick! Come on! Get it! Yes! Pull the stick! Oh my god! Oh god!"

The video has sparked a wave of crazy and uplifting comments from users who have shared their own experiences of being locked out. One user humorously noted, "We locked ourselves out of the house last week. Recommend everyone do it at least once, because we found three different ways to break in like easy easy." Another user expressed their admiration for the helpful cat, asking, "What is your address? I want to send that super helpful cat a gift."

The comments section is filled with relatable anecdotes and tips for dealing with such situations. One user shared, "My roommate locked me out once and was taking a nap. But her bedroom window was open, so I started shouting to no avail. Threw something in, nada. Finally, another neighbor showed up, and we boosted him to the second floor, and he climbed into her window and went and let me in. And she woke up and he was like, 'ma’am, your roommate is locked outside. I’m just going to proceed to your door and unlock it for them.'"

Another user reminisced about their childhood: "When I was five, my mother locked herself, my baby sister, and me out of the house by accident. She was trying to figure out how to call my father to have him drive home from work to let us in when I pestered her enough to pay attention. 'What if I go in the back door?' 'It's locked.' 'I can fit through the cat door.' 'You can what?' I got down on the ground, did the horrific twisting that only five-year-old kids do, and crawled inside. She was very surprised, but also grateful."

This video not only showcases the incredible intelligence and helpful nature of cats but also serves as a reminder of the importance of having a backup plan for those unexpected lockouts. As one user wisely suggested, "Pro Tip: Hide a spare key to your house IN YOUR NEIGHBOR'S YARD OR GARDEN."

In the end, the cat's efforts in the video were not just about unlocking a door, but also about unlocking a treasure trove of amusing and heartfelt stories from viewers worldwide. The video has certainly left many people smiling and appreciating the unexpected heroes in their lives, whether they have fur or not.

My sister and I can attest this is 100% a thing. I forgot the house keys and came home to a locked house a couple times after school, and we were able to get our cat to bat at the latch holding the window closed and get in that way.

I’ve once locked myself out of my flat and opened the door with a spatula 😂
