Corey Taylor, the iconic frontman of Slipknot and Stone Sour, has once again proven that metalheads truly know how to have a good time. A viral video on Imgur titled "Metalheads are the best tbh" showcases Taylor performing a rendition of the beloved Spongebob Squarepants theme song during a concert. The spontaneity and humor of the performance have captivated audiences, sparking a wave of comments and reactions online.

In the video, Taylor jokes with the crowd, teasing them about whether he should play the next song. He eventually dives into the Spongebob Squarepants theme, much to the delight of the audience. The crowd eagerly joins in, chanting the familiar lines, “Who lives in a pineapple under the sea? Spongebob Squarepants!” The energy and joy in the room are palpable, showcasing the unique bond between metal artists and their fans.

Fans and followers have taken to social media to express their admiration and amusement. One user exclaimed, "Corey MF Taylor!" Another recommended watching the entire concert, "Corey Taylor Live in London," available on YouTube, highlighting Taylor's impressive covers and crowd work.

Interestingly, some users shared personal anecdotes about their experiences with metal fans. One comment highlighted how metalheads, despite their intimidating appearance, are often some of the nicest and most intelligent people one could meet. Another user humorously confirmed, "Spongebob Squarepants is satanic!" sparking a playful debate among fans.

Corey Taylor’s performance not only brought laughter but also showcased his versatility and ability to connect with his audience on a deeper level. His appearance on the British panel show QI, where he was noted to be quite funny, further solidifies his status as a multifaceted entertainer.

The video has also led to discussions about the logistics of performing such covers, with questions about copyright and the need for bands to file the songs they intend to play beforehand. Despite these technicalities, the impromptu performance was a hit and left fans wanting more.

Overall, this light-hearted and unexpected performance by Corey Taylor has reinforced the idea that metalheads are indeed some of the best and most entertaining people in the music world. Whether it’s through powerful renditions of Slipknot's****s or playful covers of cartoon theme songs, Taylor continues to captivate and charm audiences worldwide.

I have personally met quite a few people who openly refer to themselves as Sataic. Nicest people I've ever met. Smart as f*** too

Seriously though, go and watch the whole concert (Corey Taylor Live in London, available on YouTube). Some awesome covers and interpretations (like an insane rendition of Slipknot's Spit It Out, sadly no People=S***), great crowd work, lots of fun. And then there's S****, and that song will *break* you.

Could never really get into slipknot, but Corey Taylor is a cool dude.

Metalfans are some of the best music crowds i've ever seen. Sure there are some d***heads amongst them, they look terrifying to outsiders sometimes ( 6'+ guy with long black hair, black leather clothes with metals spikes and heavy combat boots - i get the prejudice) but most of them are just normal to very decent people, who just love to rock out to the music of their choice.
