In a video that has taken the internet by storm, Sage the cat has become a viral sensation for his impeccable timing and relentless meowing during his owner's presentation practice. For 30 minutes, the owner, who was diligently preparing for an important presentation, was met with Sage's non-stop vocal interruptions.

"For the past 30 minutes, I've been practicing my presentation for tomorrow. You've been meowing the whole time. Can I help you, Sage?" the owner questions in the video. "Why do you not produce a single meow in day-to-day life? But as soon as I'm locked in for Zoom call or for presentation, you have to announce your presence. Can I help you? What is it that you want?"

This endearing yet exasperating behavior has sparked a myriad of lighthearted and insightful comments from viewers. One user humorously noted, "Sage just wants to be part of the conversation!" Another comment delved into the fascinating behavior of cats, suggesting that the sudden vocal outbursts might be due to a "demon that shares their body" and takes over when the cat is jealous of the owner's attention.

Other users shared their own experiences with their feline friends. One user mentioned, "My cat Meseeks is silent most of the time (excluding breakfast and dinner excitement), but the SECOND I make or answer a phone call she goes off like a bagpipe." Another shared, "My cat will yell and yell and yell constantly. At me. Around me. In my vicinity. It doesn't matter and there appears to be no reason for it."

The video even led to some creative and humorous interpretations of Sage's thoughts. "Being hugged like this and have sweet nothings whispered in my ear," one viewer imagined Sage saying. Another viewer joked, "I don't make the rules, Ivan. I only follow what The One Brain Cell provides."

Overall, Sage's antics have resonated deeply with cat owners everywhere, who understand the unique challenge of balancing work and the demanding presence of their pets. As one user aptly put it, "Makes perfect cat sense. As long as your attention is either on him or adrift, on nothing in particular, he's fine. As soon as your attention is focused on something other than him, he raises a ruckus."

Whether Sage's behavior is born out of a desire for attention or something more mysterious, one thing is clear: this orange cat has captured the hearts of many and provided a much-needed laugh in these trying times.

For those who can relate to Sage's owner's plight or simply want to enjoy a good laugh, this video is a must-watch. Sage's persistent meows and the owner's comical frustration create a perfect storm of humor and relatability.

Sage just wants to be part of the conversation!

So this is actually a really fascinating behavior. Cats can actually understand English, due to the demon that shares their body, and when you are in a meeting or doing a presentation, the demon that lives in their head gets to take over for a bit and, resentful of the cat having control most of the time, is as vocal and annoying as possible in an attempt to escape its feline prison.

My cat Meseeks is silent most of the time (excluding breakfast and dinner excitement), but the SECOND I make or answer a phone call she goes off like a bagpipe. My theory is she thinks I'm finally talking to the people in the room I can't see - but she can.

"Being hugged like this and have sweet nothings whispered in my ear." - Sage, presumably.

My cat does s*** like this sometimes, too. He's especially vocal when it comes to me being up***ht and in the kitchen, or even in the bathroom with the door closed. He just wants to stay near me, I think. Also, FOOD.

My cat does this. My cat will readily sit on their own in silence all day and willfully ignore me. But the second they want me and I'm doing something else, he will yell. He will yell and yell and yell and yell constantly. At me. Around me. In my vicinity. It doesn't matter and there appears to be no reason for it. Clean litter boxes. Fresh food in the bowl. Water flowing. Toilet seat lifted and toys out and ready for play. He doesn't care. He will yell. Sometimes for hours a night.
