A thought-provoking comic strip by Alzward from @ALZWARD'S_CORNER has recently garnered significant attention on social media, capturing the stark contrasts in global beliefs through its clever four-panel design. This comic, featuring two characters—one with blue skin and one with green skin—delivers a powerful commentary on propaganda and economic inequality.

In the **first panel**, the blue-skinned character sits on a couch holding a book, conversing with the green-skinned character who is also holding a book. The blue-skinned character remarks, "Apparently a lot of the people in Russia really believe they're on the right side of the war."

The **second panel** zooms in on the concerned blue-skinned character, still holding the book, saying, "It’s so weird to think about, y'know? Like we live in an unprecedented age of information, but there are still countries with fully functioning propaganda machines."

The comic takes a dramatic turn in the **third panel**, depicting a man with a top hat, sunglasses, a suit, and a cane, widely gesturing with a large smile. Above him, the text reads, "Universal welfare of any kind is COMMUNISM."

In the **fourth panel**, another dramatic depiction shows a hand holding a hat, with the text "Don’t mind the WEALTH GAAAP~" streaming from the hat.

This comic strip by Alzward effectively highlights the irony and contradictions inherent in modern discourse on economic systems and propaganda. The contrasting beliefs showcased in the comic resonate with various user comments on the internet. One user commented, "Yep. The capitalist propaganda machine is another terrible beast," while another noted, "Germany teaches American propaganda in high school, and I mean current propaganda."

A revealing comment mentioned, "Just wait till you learn that the USA spends more on propaganda than China and Russia combined." This aligns with the comic's theme, showing how information can be manipulated to serve different agendas, despite living in an age of unprecedented access to information.

The comic also touches on the concept of communism versus capitalism, with one user stating, "Communism works in small groups (tribal), but has never been tried in a large group. I'm a die-hard communist but fully admit that it would not likely function in a growing society."

Alzward's comic strip not only entertains but also encourages viewers to critically evaluate the information they consume. In an age where the internet and social media have pushed propaganda and misinformation into overdrive, as one user commented, "The internet has proven beyond any shadow of a doubt that people have no interest in truth - they only want validation."

The comic, with its sharp wit and insightful commentary, serves as a reminder of the importance of critical thinking and the need to scrutinize the sources of our information. For more of Alzward's work, follow @ALZWARD'S_CORNER on Instagram, Webtoon, and Patreon.

The biggest bit of propaganda is that communism is bad. Communism works in small groups (tribal), but has never been tried in a large group. (A fascist government cannot by definition be communist.) I'm a die hard communist, but fully admit that it would not likely function in a growing society. I do believe that it is what we need society to evolve into. Capitalism is workable in mid stages, but has become a cancer. If we don't start expanding into socialism the cancer will kill us all.

The thing is, too much information is as bad as not enough, especially when there's a lot of false information circulating. People struggle to properly filter and instead tend to get into echo chambers.

"Still?" The internet and social media has pushed propaganda and misinformation into *overdrive.*
