If you've ever had more than one cat in your house, you know that mealtime can sometimes turn into a battleground. The constant struggle for food dominance can lead to some pretty amusing situations, as showcased in a recent viral video that has taken the internet by storm. In this video, aptly titled "This puzzle was too hard to be solved lol," we witness the comedic antics of two feline siblings as they navigate their way through a clever food-stealing prevention system.

The video begins with a caption explaining the situation. "To thwart the food stealing sister in our house, we’ve started using one of those microchip detecting food trays. It’s actually working really well. The sister who was having her food stolen seems happier, and doesn’t have to gulp her food down. Although the stealer of food is annoyed that her 2nd food bowl isn’t working properly anymore and she is being restricted to only one breakfast! I’m not sure she will survive."

As the video plays, we see one cat patiently waiting for her food in front of the microchip detecting food tray, while her mischievous sibling tries to figure out a way to outsmart the system. What follows is a series of comical attempts, showcasing the sibling's lack of finesse, planning, and stealth. It's clear that this cat is the complete opposite of a cat burglar.

The hilarity doesn't stop there. The video also features a compilation of user comments, adding to the amusement and relatability of the situation. One user shares their own experience, saying, "Had a cat who would frequently push out a younger cat out of the bowl to eat in her place. She stopped when the younger cat finally had enough and slapped her." It seems that food-stealing cats are a common occurrence, and owners have come up with various creative solutions.

From separating the cats during mealtime to providing more private space for each feline to eat, owners have tried it all. Some have even resorted to using high-tech solutions, like the microchip detecting food trays or RFID feeders, to ensure that each cat gets their fair share. However, as one user points out, these solutions can come with a hefty price tag.

Amidst the laughter and relatability of the video, there are also some sweet moments. One user shares their own struggle with a small, toothless cat stealing food from a bigger, brawny male cat. They have to stand guard to prevent the food theft, showcasing the love and dedication of a pet owner.

This viral video reminds us of the entertaining dynamics that can unfold between pets, especially when it comes to mealtime. The battle for food dominance can lead to comedic scenarios, showcasing the unique personalities and behaviors of our beloved furry friends. So, the next time you witness a food-stealing fiasco in your own home, remember that you're not alone. It's all part of the joy and laughter that our pets bring into our lives.

That water fountain from PetLibro is the same one I have and no longer use. It turns out the three-section filter below the steel tray is less than useless, actively functioning as a bacteria sponge. It was completely covered in slime despite being changed and the unit cleaned every week. It was disgusting. I made this instead by using the pump and silicone tube in a 4L pyrex bowl and squeezing 2 of the little coarse filters into the pump instead of 1. https://imgur.com/a/qa5QqbL

I love how this cat is somehow the opposite of a cat burglar. No finesse, no planning, no stealth.

Had a cat who would frequently push out a younger cat out of the bowl to eat in her place (note that the bowls were always full, she could have gone to another bowl). She stopped when the younger cat finally had enough and slapped her.

We've been feeding our ALWAYS HUNGRY cat, then taking the more gentle cat somewhere else in the house and feeding them there. This way, they usually have time to finish eating before our Would-Be Chonkmonster can find them.

Just don't put the bowls so close next to each other! Allow them more private space to eat.

What is up with these cat bowls on stands I'm seeing a lot lately? Do they serve a purpose?

Why are naughty kitties always the cutest?

Awesome that the other sibling actually just keeps eating, mine just walks away so i had to go with a whole microchip situation.
