Have you ever had one of those moments where someone mistakes you for someone else? Well, it seems like even celebrities aren't immune to this kind of mix-up. In a recently shared video, a laughable airport encounter unfolded when a lady approached a well-known actor, mistaking him for another iconic figure.

The video begins with the actor recounting the incident. He was sitting in an airport when a lady approached him and said, "You are, aren't you?" The actor responded modestly, not wanting to reveal his true identity. The lady confidently declared, "You are Boris Karloff!" To which the actor politely denied, "No, madam, I'm not."

Undeterred, the lady insisted that actors always pretend they're not somebody. She was convinced that the actor standing before her was indeed Boris Karloff. However, the actor maintained his stance, clarifying that Mr. Karloff had passed away. Curious to know who he really was, the lady bluntly asked, "Well then, who the hell are you?" Unfortunately, before he could respond, she walked away, leaving him with no chance to reveal his true identity as Christopher Lee.

As expected, this video has garnered quite a bit of attention, with users sharing their thoughts and reactions in the comment section. One user fondly reminisced about Vincent Price, another renowned actor, and commented, "Vincent was always great fun." It seems that Price's name brought back memories for many, with another user sharing, "Price was responsible for one of the best lines in a film EVER: 'Pray speak quietly, every sound you make is exquisite agony to me.'"

The conversation took an interesting turn when someone playfully remarked, "You're not Christopher Lee, Vincent Price! You're Peter Cushing!" The comments section also includes references to popular shows and movies, such as the Muppet Show, where Vincent Price made a memorable appearance. One user shared, "I still got a VHS tape somewhere with the Muppet show with him."

It's fascinating to see how this video has sparked a wave of nostalgia and appreciation for these legendary actors. Despite the mix-up, it's clear that Christopher Lee's charm and talent have left a lasting impression on his fans. As one user aptly put it, "He really was a lovely guy."

So, the next time you encounter a celebrity, make sure to double-check their identity before assuming who they are. After all, even the most famous faces can find themselves in a case of mistaken identity.

I was trying to find how much he was paid for Michele Jackson's Thriller. I searched the internet, Googling, and wiki-ing, and I came up with no mention of the amount. Was it another freebee like Eddie Van Halen's?

Great punchline. Wonderfuul fellow, too.

This was Parkinson, a tremendously successful UK chat show. The host, Michael Parkinson was not an entertainer but had been a journalist so he knew how to give his guests room to speak. His affable, laid-back personality was a great help too. sadly, 'Parky' died last year aged 88. His show was always a real treat on a Saturday night when I was a kid. Happy days.
