I'm of the few eligible to vote the moment an ID can be obtained. Seriously though, f*** the DMV for making it more expensive to obtain a state ID than food

https://vote.gov/ a minority in the country has stacked it in a way that they have the electoral advantage going into every election. But that advantage is removed when young people vote. Please register if you are eligible. If voting didn't matter neither Obama nor Trump would have been elected.

I live in a very blue state and work at a school and there are are a frightening amount of young people who are clearly fed very pro-Trump ideologies at home, and they eat it up. I would like to believe that younger voters will favor more progressive candidates, but it’s not going to be a fix-all like this post suggests. As always, don’t get complacent.

Sounds like a lot but we will be lucky if half that number end up voting and even luckier if a quarter of them are in states that make a difference.

Conservatives tried to raise the voting age to 21 last time, purely because Gen Z voted. They are s***-in-the-pants terrified of Gen Z voting. So if you're in that demographic, please vote.

Make no assumptions. Vote. Vote in local elections too. Every stage of government counts. They are doing their best to sway the system against you
