Every time the economy gets weird, people start pointing their finger at the homeless. My father-in-law in particular. I never understood this. He's been conditioned to blame the victims as if they are the cause. Like they're purposely being homeless to spite him. It'd be like if godzilla trashed a city and we all got upset at the people trapped in the rubble and completely ignored the fact that a giant lizard just wrecked the city.

The USA has the wealth, and resources to feed, water, house, educate and medically care for every citizen and visitor, yet instead encourages a handful of people accumulate more wealth than can be spent in several lifetimes. Why is USA's birth rate declining again?

we can say this all we want, but unless the 99% are willing to unite as a whole and go after the greedy 1% f***ers, nothing will change. The 1% will see the planet nuked before they part with even a penny.

I am a small business owner and as such a capitalist. I also think everyone deserves at least the basics. Capitalism and being greedy do not go hand in hand. As a matter of fact, I am able to do good deeds because of capitalism.

Greetings from Switzerland: there was always work involved to get food / shelter - in the stoneage you had hunt or gather - in the neolithic you had to farm or herd - in the modern world you have to work a job ... there never was such a thing as "free" food / shelter ... don't get why 'Muricans always cheer the extremes ... you don't have to do pure capitalism or pure socialism ... you can mix them ... do capitalism with high taxes for corporations to pay for free education + gen. healthcare

It's the same argument about healthcare. People s*** on Canadian healthcare because of the taxes. I rather pay taxes so everyone has a fair share of having no bill to get service. People who complain that it takes too long are people that go to the hospital for nothing and 'screening' put them last because it's not urgent.

Those types of people are dangerous and will never change. Y'all want to reason and negotiate with them but they don't believe everyone should have basic rights to water. That should tell you exactly how far you'll get. They are killing any kind of future we have. You either force them out or we're all doomed

We should also push for free Healthcare and utilities and phones like the only reason we don't have those is politicians and greed.
