Remember that less than 1% of dem voters thought codifying roe vs wade was a priority because they assumed it was safe. Bigots won't stop.

#3 it was a lie of ommission. It was affirmed and reaffirmed law. However, what they didn't say is that they didn't think it should be overturned, and didn't say that once there were 5 like-minded judges on the court they would be in favor of overturning it.

Nobody ever mentions that while yes, those 3 are scum, nobody ever actually asked them point-blank “yes or no, will you overturn Roe v Wade.” They each offered a vague response that wasn’t actually a commitment and everyone just went “well gosh I guess that’s good enough.”

#1 listen to my carefully and don’t knee j*** dismiss what I am about to say but if there was ever anyone to blame for Roe being overturned it’s Obama. He didn’t get RBG to step down and appoint someone else who was on the left, and Obama rolled over when the GOP stole Garland’s nomination. That would have prevented two of Trump’s three appointments. Democrats can’t strategize and never think long term.

I just don't get why people thought roe was safe. they said they were going to do it and they did. why put so much effort into confirming these judges if they didn't think they would come through? yah should have voted for Hil-dog when you had the chance.
