A dramatic hydrothermal explosion at Biscuit Basin in Yellowstone National Park left visitors in awe as boiling water and rocks were launched into the air, leading to the destruction of a section of the boardwalk. The incident, which occurred around 10:00 a.m. local time, was captured on video, showing the sudden and powerful eruption.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported among the visitors who were nearby on the boardwalk. The United States Geological Survey (USGS) has temporarily closed the Biscuit Basin parking lot and boardwalks as geologists investigate the event. According to experts from the Yellowstone Volcano Observatory, this explosion is not linked to volcanic activity, which is often a concern in this geologically active region.

Yellowstone National Park is renowned for its geothermal features and vibrant geothermal activity, making it a site of frequent and remarkable natural occurrences. This latest event underscores the unpredictable and awe-inspiring nature of the park's geysers and hot springs.
