In the realm of relatable humor, a recent comic strip titled "Insomnia" has captured the attention of many on Reddit. This three-panel comic, created by the artist known as "SNELSE," humorously tackles the often distressing experience of insomnia.

The comic opens with a doctor diagnosing a patient with insomnia. The doctor, depicted with a round head, no hair, and simple dot eyes, wears a white coat and holds a clipboard. He tells the patient, "SOUNDS LIKE YOU HAVE INSOMNIA."

The second panel shows the patient, who is wearing a red shirt and shares the same simplistic features as the doctor, asking, "SHOULD I BE WORRIED?"

In a perfect comedic twist, the doctor responds in the third panel with, "I WOULDN'T LOSE SLEEP OVER IT."

Labelled "TWONKS" in the top left corner and signed by "SNELSE" at the lower right corner, this comic has sparked a myriad of reactions from the Reddit community. One user shared their personal struggle, mentioning extreme night terrors, hallucinations, sleep paralysis, and nighttime panic attacks, describing it as "the f***ing worst." They also noted their love for sleep and the difficulty of dealing with symptoms when heavy footsteps and shadows haunt their nights.

Another user expressed a more resigned sentiment with, "Real :(" while others contributed humorous remarks like "Thanks, dad," and "Try not to lose too much sleep over it" which play off the punchline of the comic.

Whether one is suffering from insomnia or simply enjoys clever wordplay, this comic strip by SNELSE has struck a chord. It brings a light-hearted perspective to an otherwise troubling condition, reminding people that sometimes, humor can be the best way to cope.

Extreme night terrors, hallucinations, sleep paralysis, and nighttime panic attacks. It’s the f***ing worst. Especially because i love love love sleeping. Kind of hard to do when heavy footsteps regularly rush down the hallway and when you look there’s a shadow with eyes running at you. I learned a long time ago that 2 night lights, a radio, and a fan that’s just loud enough essentially negates any problems caused by lack of proper vision or old house sounds. Worst it’s ever been was 3 consecutive days Real :(

So close, and yet... "Try not to lose too much sleep over it" would be better.
