In a recent viral video on Reddit, a dog’s unique method of getting out of bed has captured the hearts and laughter of viewers worldwide. This amusing video showcases what many are calling "the original downward dog," as the pet performs a series of stretches and slow maneuvers to gracefully exit its bed.

The video begins with the dog lying comfortably on its bed. In a sequence that seems almost choreographed, the dog stretches its front legs, mimicking the classic yoga pose known as downward dog. It then slowly slides off the bed, rubbing its belly along the edge in a way that one viewer humorously described as "just rubbing the junk off."

This quirky exit strategy has resonated with many dog owners who shared their own pets' similar behaviors. One user mentioned their Australian Shepherd performing the same routine, while another reminisced about their dog's couch exit strategy that involved a similar stretch and a rest on the coffee table.

The comments section is filled with crazy observations and relatable anecdotes. One user compared the dog's technique to a scene from Dragon Ball Z, while another suggested the dog might have a "secret ninja training program." The stretch was also likened to a slow, deliberate move that many people admitted to doing themselves when getting out of bed in the morning.

Some viewers believe that this method might actually be beneficial for the dog's joints, as it allows for a gradual transition from rest to movement. Another comment humorously noted that their German shepherd performs a similar stretch, taking her sweet time while giving them a "stink eye."

The video has sparked a lot of joy and laughter, with many viewers applauding the dog's smart and entertaining routine. If you enjoyed this delightful display of canine ingenuity, don’t forget to like the video and subscribe to the channel for more affecting and crazy pet videos.

Haha, also a stretch after lying down for so long.

I like to call that the Dragon Ball Z method.

My dog did this too! It was also his couch exit strategy. He would often reach the coffee table and just sit there with his head resting on the table, front paws touching the floor and back legs still on the couch.

"Does your dog have a secret ninja training program we don't know about?"
