The last day at a job often brings mixed emotions, but one Reddit user decided to leave their mark in a memorable and humorous way. In an image shared on the platform, a women's bathroom sign paired with a comical note has become the center of attention, showcasing a light-hearted farewell prank.

The image displays a typical women's restroom sign featuring classic symbols for a woman and a person using a wheelchair, accompanied by the word "WOMEN" in uppercase letters and Braille text below. However, the real kicker is the note taped beside the sign. The white piece of paper, affixed to a dark-colored door, reads: "The spider infestation is mostly under control."

This clever prank has elicited a variety of reactions from Reddit users. One commenter humorously remarked, "They mostly come at night... mostly," referencing a famous line from the movie "Aliens." Another user applauded the prank, stating, "That's the kind of evil I like," while a third simply commented, "Well played."

The prank has also inspired others to share their own office prank stories. One user suggested adding googly eyes to pictures around the office or placing a post-it note under a mouse to prevent it from tracking movement. Another reminisced about their departure from a previous job, where they left Excel-related jokes and trolls for their colleagues to find, much to the delight of everyone except the manager.

Some Reddit users took the opportunity to offer well-wishes, with one commenter saying, "Excellent job! Also, good luck with your new adventure." The overall sentiment was that this prank was a fun and mostly harmless way to say goodbye.

One particularly memorable story came from a former chef who recounted a coworker's last day prank. They hid shrimp inside a soup bowl in a stack of about a hundred bowls. After a week, the smell became unbearable, and it took the team a considerable amount of time to locate the source. The chef humorously noted that the experience still almost makes them gag when they recall the odor.

Another user simply commented, "Genius," while a playful conversation ensued over whether the prank involved a spider or a crab.

This wacky office prank serves as a reminder that a little humor can go a long way in creating lasting memories and bringing a smile to the faces of colleagues. As the Reddit user embarks on their new adventure, they leave behind a legacy of laughter and a story that will undoubtedly be shared in the office for years to come.

Well played. This is a fun, mostly harmless, way to say goodbye.

Find a few pictures around the office with people in them and add googly eyes. If people have a mouse at their desk put a post it note on the bottom of it so it doesn’t track movement.

Did that kind of trolls when I left my first job. It was a lot of excel related work and I left excel & private jokes and trolls everywhere, included in the printer, on my last day. Everybody loved it. Except the manager (but who cares, was leaving anyway)!

I used to be a chef. One coworker quit and as a last day prank they put shrimps inside one soup bowl in a stack of maybe hundred of them. After a week the smell started and it took us way too long to find them. Still almost makes me puke remembering the smell. One of the worst I've had the pleasure to experience..
