In a delightful twist that has left fans in stitches, Katy Perry's latest music video features a rather amusing prop malfunction. The image from the video captures Katy Perry with a joyful expression, holding what appears to be a microphone creatively modified to include a drill bit. However, observant viewers quickly noticed that the drill bit is crooked, sparking a wave of laughter and comments across social media platforms.

One Reddit user hilariously pointed out, "You can tell it's a real drill too, because of all the glitter and beda**ling." Another lamented, "Well... my immersion is RUINED!!!" Clearly, the sight of the crooked drill bit disrupted the otherwise polished production, but it also added a layer of humor that fans have come to appreciate.

The scene is further enhanced by Katy Perry's glamorous appearance. She sports a red headband with white polka dots, tying back her dark hair, and her makeup is nothing short of stunning. Her playful demeanor is perfectly captured against a backdrop of bold black and white blocks, with radiating white lines emphasizing her as the focal point of the scene.

One particularly vivid comment imagined the moment of discovery: "Oh my god pause it. Did you see that? That drill bit. It was crooked. Rewind it. I know what I saw." The user humorously described the excitement and laughter that ensued upon realizing the comedic error. "And he just laughs and laughs until tears are coming down his face. 'I gotta post this on Reddit,'" they added.

Speculation also arose about the intentionality behind the crooked drill bit. Some believe it was a deliberate choice to maintain visual interest, given the lack of sound effects in the music video. "This is actually probably on purpose because if it's straight you wouldn't be able to see it spin," suggested one commenter.

Regardless of whether the crooked drill bit was an intentional gag or an oversight, it has undeniably added a layer of entertainment to Katy Perry's new music video. Fans continue to share and laugh about the moment, proving that even the smallest details can leave a lasting impression.

For those who haven't seen it yet, the hilarity of the crooked drill bit and the overall playful vibe of the video are worth experiencing firsthand. Check out the video and join the fun in spotting this amusing error.

I like to imagine the person that noticed this. First they were watching a Katy Perry video which is comical enough but then they saw something that stopped them dead in their tracks.  "Oh my god pause it. Did you see that? That drill bit. It was crooked. Rewind it. I know what I saw."  And then he pauses it at the perfect moment and he jumps out of his seat screaming in joyous laughter. "It's crooked ahahahaTHE DRILL BIT IN THE NEW KATY PERRY VIDEO IS CROOKED!!!!!!" And he just laughs and laughs until tears are coming down his face. "I gotta post this on reddit"

And also, if you are flattened by an anvil like Katy Perry is in this video, you can't reinflate yourself just by blowing on your thumb.

To be fair chucks unintentionally loosen all the damn time, it's not like that stock photo of the lady holding a soldering iron by the tip.

This is actually probably on purpose because if it's straight you wouldn't be able to see it spin. It's a music video so there isn't much in the way of sound effects to convey movement only visuals. They could have done it in a better method but my guess is they didn't realize until the first take and decided this was the best solution given time constraints.
