Bird-watching enthusiasts and comedy lovers alike will find joy in this uproarious four-panel comic strip that humorously critiques the world of bird-watching through the eyes of two witty blackbirds. Featured on the popular website BONUSCONTEXT.COM, this comic strip, labeled as number 034, offers a fresh and entertaining perspective on bird-watching that is sure to resonate with many.

In the first panel, the scene is set in a lush forest with green bushes and tall trees. Two blackbirds, one visibly annoyed, are walking and discussing their disdain for bird-watching. A human character, dressed in green and using binoculars, can be seen in the background, presumably bird-watching. The annoyed blackbird sarcastically remarks, "BIRD-WATCHING IS SO STUPID. DON’T THEY HAVE ANYTHING BETTER TO DO?"

The second panel zooms in on the blackbirds as they continue their conversation. The same annoyed blackbird expresses frustration that bird-watchers only focus on certain birds, saying, "THEY’RE NOT EVEN WATCHING ALL BIRDS! ONLY SOME ARE GOOD ENOUGH TO WATCH, APPARENTLY."

In the third panel, the blackbirds are shown further along the forest path. The annoyed blackbird maintains its irritated demeanor, while the other bird follows quietly, adding to the comedic build-up.

The fourth and final panel provides a close-up of the two blackbirds. The second blackbird finally speaks, asking, "ARE YOU UPSET BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT WATCHING YOU?" The first blackbird responds with a lengthy and humorous rant: "THE ONLY KIND OF HUMAN I SEE IS THE STUPID COMMON HUMAN. NOBODY WANTS TO WATCH COMMON HUMANS! THEY’RE JUST SO COMMON IT’S ANNOYING. COMMON BLACKBIRD? COMMON COMPARED TO YOUR UGLY FACE, PERHAPS."

This comic has received various reactions from users. One user commented, "Seriously. I love birds. I went birding with some other enthusiasts, and the whole time they told me how all my favorite birds are trash birds. Bunch of miserable birdwatchers." Another user shared a soul-stirring story about a blackbird visiting their garden, highlighting the joy and connection bird-watching can bring: "There’s a blackbird that’s been in our garden the past few days. I fed it as it’s been warm, and gave water too. Today I was putting the washing out and it came really close to me, didn’t care that I was there at all and I was happy to stand and watch it!"

Adding to the humor, one user quipped, "Wait, what is this? An actually funny cartoon here? Are these even allowed in this sub?"

The comic strip, created by BONUSCONTEXT.COM and shared on social media handles @BONUSCTX, cleverly anthropomorphizes the blackbirds, giving them human-like qualities and speech, making it a delightful read for anyone who has ever pondered the whimsical world of bird-watching.

There’s a blackbird that’s been in our garden the past few days. I fed it as it’s been warm, and gave water too. Today I was putting the washing out and it came really close to me, didn’t care that I was there at all and I was happy to stand and watch it! Naturally I fed it again and I’m sure it will be back! There’s also a blackbird in the area where I live that has borrowed a feather from another bird to put in its back - the feather is white so it’s easy to spot!

Wait, what is this? An actually funny cartoon here? Are these even allowed in this sub?
