A viral video titled "A for effort, F for landing" has taken Reddit by storm, capturing the attention of viewers with its comedic yet painful display of a backflip gone wrong. The video features a daring individual attempting a backflip, only to land in the most unexpected way.

In the clip, the person can be heard saying, "So they told me, put all that money where your mouth goes. It goes, uh." This cryptic comment sets the stage for what unfolds next—a backflip attempt that defies physics and leaves viewers both amused and concerned.

The reactions from Reddit users are a mix of awe and humor. One user gave a cheeky rating, stating, "Absolutely no splash, 10," highlighting the lack of a graceful landing. Another user commented, "Never let them expect your next move," suggesting the unpredictability of the stunt.

Some viewers drew comparisons to the classic iOS game "Backflip Madness," with one remarking, "The physics here is baffling. Reminds me of the old iOS game 'backflip madness.'" Others were simply puzzled, asking, "How is that even possible?"

Not all reactions were filled with humor; some expressed empathy. "That hurt just to watch," one user noted, while another pointed out, "More sad than funny honestly." The video clearly left a lasting impression, with one comment saying, "New core memory for him and all who saw."

The video also sparked a discussion on the difficulties of performing backflips. Users shared their personal experiences, with one elaborating, "Backflips are weird, man. As someone who never did any kind of gymnastics or anything but had a t****oline as a kid, I had no trouble whatsoever learning how to do front flips. But backflips? I never figured it out."

One particularly humorous comment exclaimed, "You ever flip so hard you went back on land?! Huh?!" capturing the sheer absurdity of the situation. Another user found the video to be pure comedy gold, writing, "lmao that's the funniest thing I've seen in a while!"

Despite the varied reactions, the consensus is clear: the effort was there, but the execution left much to be desired. As one user succinctly put it, "I think you mean E for effort. Honestly, that effort was really poor."

This viral video serves as a reminder of the unpredictability and challenges of performing stunts, and it has certainly earned its place in the annals of internet humor.

Backflips are f***ing weird, man. As someone who never did any kind of gymnastics or anything but had a t****oline as a kid, I had no trouble whatsoever learning how to do front flips. Didn't need anyone to teach me how to do it, it was just kind of instinctual. But backflips? I never figured it out. It was like there was some kind of equilibrium lockout or something where once I was in mid air and trying to flip backwards, my body would just kinda freak out and shut down like "Nope, we don't want to be doing this so we're just gonna override your somatic control, champ." I flopped in a very similar manner to this guy basically every time I tried it.

There’s the easy way to figure out that turning around and doing a forward flip isn’t a backflip, and there’s the hard way.
