A charming homemade lemonade stand has taken the internet by storm, thanks to a hilariously confusing sign that has garnered a multitude of reactions. The image, originally posted on Reddit, showcases two young boys proudly standing behind their lemonade stand, set up on a sunny day in a suburban park.

The lemonade stand features two large signs made from white poster boards. One sign reads, "Refreshing TOTALLY NOT POISONED" with the word "NOT" highlighted in red and underlined. The second sign, "$25 Lemonade," is accompanied by an amusingly inaccurate drawing of a lemon. The stand offers two pitchers of lemonade—one pink and one yellow—along with popsicles and containers for other refreshments.

Reddit users couldn't help but comment on the quirky use of quotation marks and the sign's overall message. One user humorously noted, "My 'Totally NOT Poisoned Lemonade' sign has people asking a lot of questions already answered by my sign," while another pointed out, "Those quotations are concerning. At least it's not around the Poisoned though."

The price of the lemonade also drew attention, with one commenter exclaiming, "Slightly off topic, but 25¢? What a bargain." Another user humorously added, "25 cents is a helluva deal, poisoned or not."

The sign's unique phrasing led to various interpretations. "She used it correctly. Their lemonade was not refreshing at all. Can confirm there was no poison," quipped one user. Another added, "It worries me that they felt the need to arbitrarily clarify the lack of poison in the lemonade..."

The playful scene behind the stand, with green bushes and trees, adds to the friendly and casual vibe of the image. Despite the sign's odd wording, the lemonade stand appears to be a delightful and endearing summertime activity for the young entrepreneurs.

As the internet continues to react with amusement and confusion, it's clear that this lemonade stand has made a memorable impression. Whether or not the lemonade is truly "totally not poisoned," the boys' entrepreneurial spirit and creativity have certainly captured the hearts of many.

Or use the "cents" symbol

Slightly off topic, but 25¢? What a bargain. In my neighbourhood some kids had a stand selling "homemade" lemonade (because instant drink mix with water added is "homemade) - $2 for a 6 oz. cup.

Plus I don’t know how much the cookies cost, and that one employee is eating at the counter. I’M NEVER COMING BACK HERE AGAIN!
