In a delightful four-panel comic titled "Remember Winter?", the age-old debate between preferring summer or winter is humorously illustrated. The comic features a woman and a sun character, each capturing the essence of seasonal discomfort.

**Panel 1:**

Set against a backdrop of a clear blue sky and distant mountains, the first panel shows a woman standing on green grass. She has shoulder-length hair and is visibly sweating, looking uncomfortably hot. Above her, a stylized, smiling sun beams down. The woman exclaims, "UGH! IT'S GETTING TOO HOT, LATELY!"

**Panel 2:**

The scene remains the same, with the blue sky and mountains in the background. The sun continues to smile, while the woman stands still, still looking uncomfortable from the heat. The sun, with a speech bubble, says, "BUT… REMEMBER WINTER?"

**Panel 3:**

The setting shifts dramatically to a snowy environment with falling snowflakes. The woman now wears a heavy winter coat, scarf, mittens, hat, and boots, looking cold and miserable. Icicles hang from her hat and nose as she clutches a steaming mug. Her expression clearly conveys her discomfort in the cold.

**Panel 4:**

The scene returns to the original summer setting with the blue sky and green grass. The woman, now upset, points angrily at the sun, which looks confused. The sun's speech bubble reads, "MORE?" In response, the woman shouts, "MORE!"

This comic resonates with many who have experienced the discomfort of both extreme heat and cold. User comments on Reddit reflect a variety of preferences and experiences with weather:

- One user states, "I prefer winter. I can always put on more clothes."

- Another humorously adds, "I can only take off so many in the summer before I get arrested."

- A user living near the Equator mentions, "I could be getting frozen solid and I would think it's not cold enough."

- "Winter is coming... and I prefer it," echoes another commenter.

- Conversely, one user disagrees, saying, "This, but the exact opposite."

- The sentiment "That is why autumn is the best" appears as a middle-ground preference.

The conversation continues with users from different regions sharing their thoughts. Some prefer the cold, like a user from Northern Alberta who finds winter easier to manage despite temperatures often hitting -40°C. They highlight the benefits of winter, such as less need for air conditioning and the beauty of snowy landscapes. Others express their disdain for the heat with comments like, "Absolutely not. The heat is awful." and "I'd take a whole month of -45 with wind chill over a single day of +45 with humidity, thanks."

Ultimately, the comic "Remember Winter?" humorously captures the universal struggle of choosing between the discomforts of summer heat and winter cold, sparking a lively debate among its viewers.

As someone who lives near the Equator... I could be getting frozen solid and I would think it's not cold enough.

F*** no, give me back the snow and ice. I can put a coat on to get warmer, but at some point I can't take any more clothes off

I live in Northern Alberta and I still prefer Winter over Summer (even though it often hits -40c here). The snow fills in the potholes, no insects buzzing around my head, nowhere near as much overheating (I can layer up to warm up if I *really* need to), I use less elecrticity as I don't need the AC as much (gas heated apartment, gas is included in rent, electricity isn't), and I have adapted very well to colder climates as I grew up playing and working in the cold, but I am having difficulty dealing with these hotter and hotter summers. The only downsides to Winter for me is the snow not being shoveled off the road soon enough, and having to brush the vehicle off most mornings. Aside from that, the air feels crisp and nice on the lungs, the scenery is beautiful, and even the best holidays are all in Fall and Winter (Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas).
