In a side-splitting video on Imgur titled "How many glasses do you need??," a couple hilariously navigates the complexities of using the correct beer glasses. The video captures the frustration and confusion that ensue when trying to adhere to traditional beer glass etiquette.

The scene unfolds with a woman, presumably trying to pour a beer, being corrected by her partner: "Sweetie, stop! This is a Pilsner. A Pilsner goes with this cup." The humorous ordeal continues with misguided attempts to pour different beers into the wrong glasses, including a wheat beer meant for a Weizenglas and a Keller beer intended for a Seidel. The woman's exasperation peaks as she defiantly tries to pour the beer her way, much to her partner's dismay: "No, no, Sweetie, no, no, no!"

Viewer reactions in the comments add another layer of comedy and insight. One commenter is shocked by the woman's pouring technique, noting, "Did she just try to fill the Weizenglas without tilting it?!" Another user humorously identifies with the woman, claiming, "I have one glass. For cola or beer or wine or rum." The relatable content doesn't stop there. A user shares a personal anecdote about a Belgian bartender who refused service because the proper glass wasn't available, while another advises, "Just leave her alone to her breakfast alcoholism!"

Fans of the woman in the video reveal that she has a popular YouTube channel under the handle @uyenninh, where she likely shares more of her beer adventures and other entertaining content. One dedicated follower declares, "I love watching her videos on YouTube."

The debate over the necessity of specific beer glasses sparks a lively discussion. Some argue for simplicity, stating, "Beer already comes pre-packed in ideal drinking containers, no need to overcomplicate manners with frivolities like glasses." Others, including wine enthusiasts, empathize with the importance of the right glass for enhancing the drinking experience. A German commenter humorously adds, "I favored wine over beer for years because I didn’t realize that the glass and air make a difference for the taste of beer."

For a good laugh and a lesson on the importance (or lack thereof) of using the correct beer glass, this video is a must-watch. Whether you're a beer connoisseur or someone who enjoys a drink straight from the bottle, "How many glasses do you need??" offers a delightful glimpse into the sometimes overly complicated world of beer drinking.

omg Did she just try to fill the Weizenglas without tilting it?! I bet she wasn't even going to leave a little bit in the bottle to slew it around before pouring. jfc

In my experience, Belgians are even worse about this. I once had a bartender in Belgium refuse to serve me the beer I asked for because he didn't have the proper glass for it.

Just leave her alone to her breakfast alcoholism!

The lady has the right idea, beer already comes pre-packed in ideal drinking containers, no need to overcomplicate manners with frivolities like glasses. And to emphasize: Die Dame hat recht, Bier kommt schon vorverpackt in praktischen Trinkgefäßen, es gibt keinen Grund dafür, alles mit Frivolitäten wie Gläsern zu verkomplizieren. Prost!

Drinking from the bottle is bad. It ruins the taste because your nose cannot smell the flavor. I favored wine over beer for years because I didn’t realized that the glas and air makes also the difference for the taste of beer. Nowadays I drink sometimes a beer but usually refuse if offered in a bottle. From which glass? I don’t give a duck.🦆 Sincerely a German.
