In a side-splitting standup special by Pierre Novellie, available for free on YouTube, he delves into the curious case of women's missing pockets. The video, aptly titled "Secrets in Your Pockets," addresses a common grievance among women about the lack of functional pockets in their clothing.

Novellie humorously suggests that women lost their "pocket privileges" by filling them with votes and contraception, prompting laughter and a series of engaging comments from viewers. One viewer reminisced, "We decided to form a gang and steal ridiculous amounts from stores in Elephant and Castle," adding a lighthearted twist to the conversation.

Another comment emphasized the struggle: "I only buy clothes with pockets. We want pockets. Fashion slowly understands." This sentiment was echoed by many, including a user who finds cargo shorts on men "sexy af," appreciating her fiancé's fashion choice.

The theory that purse manufacturers conspire with clothing designers to omit pockets for profit was also highlighted, described as "the most capitalist thing ever." This notion resonates with many, who are frustrated by the lack of practical pockets in women's fashion.

One insightful comment from a fashion designer explained the economic reasons behind the pocket dilemma: "The most common reason pockets get axed is production costs. Women's fashion is usually triple the price of men's and production can be a lot costlier too, as patterns can be more complicated. Faux pockets or no pockets is an easy way to cut down costs."

The video also sparked creative ideas and humorous takes, such as a user planning to use men’s pants for hiking to collect "cool rocks and feathers." The frustration of discovering stitched-on pockets was humorously noted: "There's a special place in hell for the man that designed fake pockets (cause no way it was a woman)."

Pierre Novellie's special has clearly struck a chord, blending humor with a real issue that many women face. The comments show a mix of frustration, understanding, and humor, making the video a must-watch. Dive into this comedic and eye-opening standup special on YouTube and join the conversation about the secrets hidden in women's pockets.

It's so f***ing frustrating. I used find guys who wore cargo shorts/pants sexy af. I still do lmao and my fiance wears them a lot. 😅😍

The belief that this is because they are trying to sell women purses is the most capitalist thing ever, and it will forever p*** me off.

Imagine being delighted when you finally uncover pants that both look nice and have pockets, only to find out that THEY'RE STITCHED ON. There's a special place in hell for the man that designed fake pockets (cause no way it was a woman).

No, they lost them because they kept filling them with cheese which diminishes men's ability to fascinate them and that was bad for society.

It's to try to prevent me from bringing home cool rocks and feathers and other things I find while out and about, jokes on you, I just mens pants for hiking.

I've seen guys pull a Nintendo Switch out of their pockets while I can't get half a small phone in mine.

Ugh, such a debate. I get it. Women should def have the right to pockets, but when my wife is in her tight-fitting dress, does she want s*** sticking out in her pockets!? No... Therefore purse. I understand, I'm not anti-women pockets, I just understand why they wouldn't fill them. Plus purses have been an accessory forever, and they look nice too.
