An intense video titled "Insane" has gone viral on Imgur, capturing a dramatic confrontation between a 17-year-old cashier and an unruly customer. The footage shows the young cashier firmly telling the customer, "Man, please don't act like that! You're a grown woman! You're a grown woman! I'm 17! Get out of here! Don't come back! Don't come back! We don't need your business!"

This incident has sparked a lively discussion online, with many users praising the teenager's composure and maturity. One user commented, "That young lady is going places," while another stated, "She was raised right." The consensus among many commenters is that employees, especially young ones, should not have to endure such disrespectful behavior. A retail business owner weighed in, saying, "As a retail business owner...call for me when this happens. You're a 17-year-old cashier. You don't need to be in the line of fire. Customers can be absolutely awful."

Some users questioned the ethics of blurring the woman's face while showing the teenager's, with one asking, "Why would they blur the woman's face but show the teenager's face?" Another comment highlighted a broader societal issue, stating, "Right on girl! The entire mentality of 'the customer is always righteous' is insane! Running any business, that business does not exist to provide humans that 'customers' can insult, disrespect or demean in any way. 'We don't need your business!' Exactly; you don't!"

Others shared personal anecdotes of dealing with difficult customers, emphasizing the need for businesses to support their employees. One user recounted, "I got to do this a couple years back when a guy around my dad's age literally threw a tantrum when the order we told him would be about an hour wasn't done after fifteen minutes."

The video has also drawn attention to the broader issue of customer entitlement. A user commented, "Every business should back their employees in situations like this. That girl was disrespected and that 'customer' should be unwelcome forever. I feel like 'the customer is always right' is a huge part of why our society is so toxic these days."

While some commenters reserved judgment without knowing the full context of the incident, the overwhelming support for the young cashier highlights a growing sentiment that respect and decency should be upheld in all interactions. Another user summed it up well: "Good for that 17-year-old! I wish I had balls like her at 17. Hell, I wish I had them like that now!"

This viral moment serves as a reminder that everyone, regardless of age or position, deserves to be treated with respect. The bravery and poise of this young cashier have resonated with many, sparking a broader conversation about the importance of decency in customer interactions.

I got to do this a couple years back when a guy around my dad's age literally threw a tantrum when the order we told him would be about an hour wasn't done after fifteen minutes. He was actually stomping his feet and yelling about it taking too long. For context on the wait time, we're a delivery and takeout only place and this was peak pandemic so we were doing double our usual business with slightly fewer staff than usual so wait times were hella long during lunch and dinner hours.

I mean... It's clear something happened before the bit we saw. Unlike most commenting here, I'm going to reserve judgement until I know what that was. You can make anyone look good or bad by cutting out the parts you like/dislike
