Witness the miraculous journey of a traumatized cat finding solace and unconditional love in a new home. The Imgur video titled "Love heals" showcases the emotional transformation of a once fearful feline who had endured significant pain before meeting his new owner.

The video begins with hesitant meows and cautious movements, highlighting the cat's initial distrust. The new owner, equipped with a leather glove, gently reassures the cat, saying, "ahhhhh ok you're are ok ahhhh what? oh oh no no no ok ok no ok ok no I love you I love you I love you I love you." This touching interaction marks the beginning of a beautiful bond.

One comment mentions, "The leather glove was very telling about how much she had to go through to rehabilitate the cat." Indeed, the owner's patience and dedication are evident as she helps the cat overcome its fears. Another user empathizes, "Buddy was stressed at the shelter and probably didn't feel safe, poor kitty. So happy to see him get a good home."

The comments section brims with heartfelt anecdotes and supportive messages. One user humorously notes, "When he asks for love, but you still gotta wear the glove. Hmmm, Love...glove...gLove." Another shares a personal story, "My boy Cooper was a feral kitty who had gotten acclimated to being around, but untrusting of, humans. Ten years later he’s the biggest love s*** cat I’ve ever had. Patience pays off. And so does love."

While many celebrate the success of this rehabilitation, a cautious reminder is given: "RESULTS NOT TYPICAL. Do NOT get a feisty cat and expect them to turn into a cuddle bug. While most cats become more relaxed after a few weeks at a new home, it is very rare for a cat to change radically."

The video's emotional impact is undeniable, as one viewer expresses, "This made me sob! I'm so glad he found a home where the folks were patient enough to give him space and unconditional love so he could feel safe and try to trust again <3." Another insightful comment reads, "I think people forget animals can be traumatized too sometimes. Takes some work and patience, I'm glad he had someone who had the time to dedicate to him."

This sweet video serves as a testament to the power of love and patience in transforming lives. It highlights the importance of providing a safe and nurturing environment for traumatized animals, ultimately showcasing that love truly heals.

Same as with many humans, TBH... When live has shown you over and over, that it's a bad idea to trust those two legged menaces, it takes a while to get used to the idea, that some might be OK after all.

My boy Cooper was a feral kitty who had gotten acclimated to being around, but untrusting of, humans. He’d lie out of reach and if we edged closer he’d edge farther away. Ten years later he’s the biggest love s*** cat I’ve ever had. Patience pays off. And so does love.

That is one scared-of-humans cat. Looks like he decided THIS particular human is ok but I bet he’s still an excellent guard cat who protects his human at all costs. 👍
