Elle Cordova, formerly known as Reina Del Cid, has taken the internet by storm with her unique twist on classic Star Trek technobabble. In her latest viral video, Elle transforms the complex jargon of Starfleet engineering into a captivating rap song that has fans buzzing.

The video opens with Elle in character as an overworked engineer aboard the Enterprise. She raps, "Engineering here. We got a subspace anomaly, a graviton pulse. We got a catastrophic diagnostic cycle result. Inertial dampeners just went offline, and that's a 10 hour job, but we'll do it in 5." The clever lyrics continue to detail the various technical challenges faced by the crew, all while maintaining a deadpan delivery that fits the persona of a seasoned Starfleet officer.

Commenters couldn't get enough of Elle's performance. One user exclaimed, "That was pretty amazing. Not gonna lie," while another added, "Yeah she's awesome! There's a part 2 to this one and plenty more. Look her up." Fans appreciate how the monotone delivery adds to the song, making it feel like just another day on the Enterprise for the overworked engineer.

Elle's creativity doesn't stop with this video. She has also produced other themed raps, including a Star Trek Beverages Rap and a Death Star Custodial Crew Rap, which can be found on her YouTube channel. One enthusiastic fan shared, "She also did a Star Trek Beverages Rap: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/d-AwQ_rba0g and a Death Star Custodial Crew Rap: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/7oZLZjyIEBY."

The video has drawn comparisons to other clever and humorous takes on technobabble. A user noted, "Damn, those are spot on clever lyrics, and her flawless deadpan delivery sells it. Awesome," while another commented, "oh look it's my microcelebrity crush."

Elle Cordova's ability to meld Star Trek's intricate technical language with the rhythm and flow of rap music has certainly made her a standout content creator. Fans eagerly await her next installment, enjoying every bit of the nostalgia and creativity she brings to the table. For those who haven't yet experienced her unique blend of science fiction and music, Elle Cordova's channel is a must-visit destination.

I love her content, I feel like the monotone adds to the song because she really comes off as an overworked engineer that has seen all this before and it’s just another day living the dream.

I like saying "small outline dual inline memory module" at work because people think I'm making that s*** up.

Y'all would probably enjoy Spaceteam. Phone game where you have to escape a black hole by following instructions to press various buttons/dials/sliders - fun part is that those might show up on somebody else's phone, so you have to yell out the instructions, which can sound like "set the interobobulating fractomodule to 7". And you have to hope you don't encounter an anomaly that changes all your panels into alien languages!
