In the midst of heated political debates, one tweet has managed to capture the collective sentiment of many observers. Maddie Stone, a verified Twitter user with the handle @themadstone, posted a tweet on September 26, 2016, that has since garnered significant attention and engagement.

The tweet humorously reads, "The only winner tonight is the Voyager probe, which is speeding away from the Earth at 17 kilometers/second #debatenight." This clever observation has resonated with many, racking up an impressive 10.5K retweets and 13.1K likes.

The Voyager probe, launched by NASA in 1977, has become an iconic symbol of exploration and discovery. As it continues its journey away from Earth, it seems to have provided a moment of levity and perspective during the intense 2016 debate night.

Social media users were quick to chime in with their thoughts. One user commented, "Gods, how I envy Voyager," highlighting a desire to escape the political turmoil. Another user humorously suggested, "Voyager probe for president!" reflecting a sentiment that the space probe might be a preferable candidate.

The tweet even sparked discussions about the presidential candidates, with one user lamenting, "Is it too late to get Pete Buttigieg to run?" and another expressing support for Joe Biden despite the challenging political landscape.

Maddie Stone's tweet stands out not only for its wit but also for its ability to encapsulate the frustrations and hopes of many during a contentious election season. As the Voyager probe continues its journey through the cosmos, it serves as a reminder that sometimes, a bit of humor and a broader perspective can provide much-needed relief.

Watching the debate- the only hope we have is for Trump to have a massive stroke and die

Is it too late to get Pete Buttigieg to run? Like if party leaders woke up from their deep slumber and decide to do it, is it doable? He will have the solid 40 year age advantage on Trump and can probably eat him alive in a debate. Trump literally had nothing to show. He just looked stable by comparison

Voyager probe for president!

Yes it’s a s*** situation all around, but I’m still voting for and encouraging everyone I know to vote for Biden, he may not be perfect, may be old, and losing it at times, but he’s done a lot of good during his presidency, and trump will be much much worse, and trumps supporters don’t give a s*** what he does and vote for him no matter what, and that’s what we’re up against we need to vote for Biden with just as much ferocity, while paying the most attention to our local elections

Dems insisted on not allowing a primary, result is the weakest candidate.
