It took me longer than I care to admit to realize this was Key and Peele.

Why don’t Presidents fight their war? Why do they always send the poor?? -SOAD

Marky Mark was the last straw. Understandably.

Politicians hide themselves away. They only started the war. Why should they go out to fight? They leave that all to the poor.

"...so the rich kids can just stay at home..." Never was this more obvious than the draft period during the Viet Nam war. The chicken hawks sat at the Capitol and rattled their sabers indignantly---all the while getting deferments for their own children---and lesser-advantaged kids got drafted and sent to war. And while I managed to return home 'relatively' unscarred, that year I spent in 'Nam completely changed the course of my life.

It's always the poor who suffer for the decisions of the rich. To quote Terry Pratchett, "When banks fail, it is seldom bankers who starve."
