I used to play games with some guys on a discord server. One day I join in the group voice chat and they're going on about how all Trans and Gay people are p***philes. I object and one of them shares a YouTube video of a news segment where some parents are trying to get the book "jack of hearts and other parts" banned from school libraries because it has graphic depictions of s** (it doesn't) and one mother objecting to the use of profanity, reading a segment in question and then explaining..

My parents thought keeping me ignorant about homosexuality would prevent me from being gay. All it did was scare and confuse me. Keeping children ignorant is abuse.
