My mum got cancer, so she got treatment. Once she'd recovered, in a follow up examination, they found out she had a defective heart valve, so she had surgery to replace it. Then dad got cancer, and had to have chemo. If they'd been in the Land of the Free, they'd have had to sell the house I grew up in to pay for mum's cancer treatment, she'd still have a defective heart valve, dad would have died, and she'd have to live knowing he died because she got cancer first.

#10 in this case, minding your own business was the problem. people should be out fighting for healthcare for all, not paying their own insurance and blindly ignoring everyone who can't afford that luxury

Here’s an idea: start firing racist, sexist, N***, bigoted a******* and make them pariahs in our society. Completely cut them off from government benefits, healthcare, anything that would help them. Really show them that their ideology is unacceptable and maybe some of them might decide to look at it differently.
