I was actually a little disappointed when my first PC build powered up - I was kind of expecting to have to tinker with it to get it working.

#1 My first build I forgot to put the motherboard standoffs in and made magic smoke. Nearly 25 years since and I still double check before powering up a new build.

#1 I just built my... 50th pc? I dunno. Lost count. Been doing it for 20+ years. It's mundane to me at this point. But it's nice to be reminded that stuff that is old hat to me is still exciting to others. Thanks.

#5 I have hypersomnia too. The amount of people who think you're simply lazy...so frustrating.

Having built several PCs at this point in my life, I am still immensely happy when they turn on and don't explode.

#1 is the same expression my husband had when, after rebuilding the motor of his pickup truck, the engine started right up and sounded perfect.

My 1st PC build, I forgot to hook up the hard drive cable and one stick of RAM was not seated properly. An anxious triple check after that and it started no problem. Do you ever forget your PC build?

#5 Medical jargon- "Ideopathic" means the doctors have no f****** idea what is causing it.

Not enough fear in that face for the “first” time turning it on
