As a business owner, I reserve the right not to do business with anyone without need to give a reason. I also don't tolerate discrimination.

"We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone " used to be a common sign, next to "no shoes, no short, no service"

imakeeper

You are allowed to discriminate who you do business with all you want, as long as you are.not discriminating against a protected status, like race, gender, religion, etc. The SC just said that LGBT+ status is not a protected class. That's the scary part.

I'm trying to figure out how this discrimination won't be allowed. I can even claim that being a trump supporter is against my Satanist religion.

If a business states anywhere that they will not serve LGBTQ+ customers, I will find an alternative. It's as simple as that. Especially after a ruling that wasn't even based on an actual case.

Fishy820

That's a great idea, this never crossed my mind when hearing the ruling.

Since pretty much Trump supporters are a cult, you can refuse on religious grounds.

Political affiliation is not a protected class and is not protected by anti-discrimination laws. Turn away all the red hats.

If sexuality isn't a protected status, "no straights allowed" is perfectly legal.

I really cannot wait until evangelicals and Catholics turn on each other. There are already evangelical groups that won't allow Catholic foster parents. Gonna be hilarious.
