As a house owner without a mortgage - I also want a house price crash so our son can afford to move out!

Meanwhile, day traders actively plot market crashes so they can capitalize on the gains, and this is completely normal and acceptable and nobody writes articles talking about what awful people they are for it (even though they should).

I bet the person who wrote the article owns a house.

If wanting a livable future and affordable prices makes me entitled, then so be it hahahah

Okaybutseriously

I'm a millennial who owns my own home. The ONLY reason that I was able to do so is because my parents paid for my college 100% and I was able to live at home after college until I built up a nest egg large enough to buy my house. I fully recognize how utterly privileged that this makes me and how different my circumstances would be without that boost. I absolutely hope for a housing crash because I'm not a selfish p**** and want more people my age to be able to afford houses.

Not just millennials..I'm cheering for it also

The only people who don't want a housing crash are landlords and flippers.

MightyIink

Wanting a place to live is not being entitled... it's basic needs.

If the American dream includes a house, a car, a chicken in every pot, then why do we make houses SO EXPENSIVE that they're sitting empty?
