My folks' friends voted for Trump, claim they didn't in 2020, now say they'd vote for Trump over Biden in '24. The reason... the student debt relief. Because their kids are doing well enough in their careers that they wouldn't qualify for the relief.

You really don't understand the Hillary hate that was gripping the country at the time. And the thing with Comey pushed it over the edge. That said, the amount of s*** people were willing to turn a blind eye for trump, at that time, was astounding. But they did it. Now all that being said, if people were willing to turn away from him after watching him in action, I'm willing to forgive. If they were willing to vote for him in 2020...THAT...was unforgivable.

I know a guy who voted for him cause he “wanted to see how trump was going to shake things up”. I don’t know how he feels now but I don’t care. He caused this problem.

For me the last straw for his cultists was when he publicly mocked a disabled man by mimicking his specific disability and they voted for him anyway. F*** every single one of them, forever.

I was brought up in a conservative Christian household. We only ever had Fox on for “news”. I only ever heard the people around me talking about how evil democrats were. I was young and brainwashed my entire childhood. It was was first time I could vote. I thought I was doing the right thing. I was obviously wrong. I didn’t know about all the controversy surrounding him, which admittedly is on me for not doing research on the candidate I voted for. I’ll never vote republican again. I’m sorry.
