In recent political developments, a Suffolk University/USA TODAY poll released Tuesday shows former President Donald Trump leading President Joe Biden by 3 percent in a six-candidate presidential ballot. Another poll conducted for CNN by SSRS found Trump holding a more substantial 6 percentage point lead over Biden, adding to the growing concerns within the Democratic Party.

Gavin Newsom and U.S. Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg matched Biden's performance at 43 percent, while Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer fared worse at 42 percent.
