In an extraordinary display of bravery, John Me, a 22-year-old senior at Seattle Pacific University, thwarted a potential tragedy in 2014. Surveillance footage recently released shows the harrowing moments inside the school when alleged gunman Aron Bara reloaded his shotgun. Three students had already been shot when Me, barefoot, courageously intervened.

With remarkable presence of mind, John Me dashed towards Bara and pepper-sprayed him directly in the face. This heroic act allowed Me to wrestle the shotgun from Bara's hands and quickly place it out of reach. However, Me's bravery did not end there. Despite the danger, he returned to confront Bara a second time, even though the gunman was now wielding a knife.

John Me's quick thinking and selfless actions undoubtedly saved many lives that day. The surveillance video serves as a powerful testament to his heroism and the incredible courage displayed in the face of imminent danger.
