Five years ago, Dora moved to Mapapa with her four adopted children. Driven by a passion to make a difference, she started creating TikTok videos to raise funds for building a school and a village for children in desperate need. Her efforts quickly garnered attention, amassing over 4 million followers on TikTok. Today, Dora cares for almost 400 children, providing them with love, education, and a sense of security.

Together, they initiated a project to build a solar array to provide much-needed electricity and security for the village. This marked the first time many children experienced light at night, a moment filled with joy and amazement.

This included tripling the village's solar generation capacity, conducting a full hydrological study to ensure a proper well with clean, safe water, and installing a state-of-the-art internet network. These efforts culminated in the construction of a well, providing fresh drinking water in abundance for the first time.

Among the many children benefiting from these improvements is Beauty, a young girl recovering from an injury. Thanks to CURE International, who stepped in with timely medical intervention, Beauty's leg was saved from amputation, allowing her to continue her recovery with hope and dignity.
