In a light-hearted yet impactful public service announcement, the Sebastian County Sheriff's Office reminds everyone of the importance of proper litter disposal. The humorous image circulating online features several crumpled yellow plastic bags from Dollar General, showcasing the brand's well-known logo with the text "Dollar General" in bold black letters inside a yellow rectangular shape. Additionally, the slogan "Save time. Save money. Every day!" subtly appears, reinforcing the brand's identity.

The playful message from the Sheriff's Office overlays the bottom of the image. It includes a silver sheriff's badge emblem and reads:

"Sebastian County Sheriff's Office

Please don’t throw these on the ground! If they come into contact with moisture, they sprout, and grow into a full blown Dollar General.

#dontlitter #welovedollargeneral

SEP 16 AT 11:17 AM"

This witty notification banner not only captures attention but also effectively communicates the anti-littering message in a fun way.

Community reactions have been both amusing and insightful. One user commented, "Unfortunately, it also only produces one employee per store no matter what," highlighting a common criticism regarding staffing at Dollar General locations. Another user remarked, "Dollar General is a predator to poverty-stricken areas in this country," shedding light on the socio-economic impact of the store's widespread presence.

A truck driver humorously noted, "As a truck driver you often have to take back roads and I swear Dollar General is always at the intersection of where the hell am I & I done f***ed up!" This comment underscores the seemingly omnipresent nature of Dollar General stores in remote areas. The user's neighbor, a project manager for Dollar General, amusingly added that the stores are strategically built for profitability.

Other users chimed in with witty remarks such as, "If only money grew on trees like Dollar Generals apparently do.🌳💵," and "Dollar general gonna grow under my sink." These comments reflect the humorous tone set by the Sheriff's Office, while a user pointed out, "This would be a lot more funny with a Dollar Tree bag, but I don't think you can get anything but plain paper bags there, if they even offer bags."

This public service announcement successfully combines humor with a meaningful message, encouraging everyone to dispose of litter responsibly. The Sebastian County Sheriff's Office has certainly found an entertaining way to address a serious issue, leaving a memorable impression on the community.

This would be a lot more funny with a [Dollar Tree](https://www.dollartree.com) bag, but I don't think you can get anything but plain paper bags there, if they even offer bags.
