Concert-goers at a recent Mitski event were met with an unexpected restroom setup that sparked a range of reactions online. The image, shared widely on Reddit, shows two identical entrances side by side, both labeled "WOMEN". These entrances, marked with black capital letters on a white background, led to some confusion and humor among attendees.

Many comments pointed out the logistical reasoning behind the setup. One user noted that women tend to spend longer in the bathroom and their stalls take up more space, potentially leading to longer lines. Given the demographics of the Mitski concert, which likely had a higher female attendance, it seemed practical to have more facilities available for women. Another user shared a similar experience at a kpop concert, where all the bathrooms were converted to women's due to the high female-to-male ratio of attendees.

However, the setup also drew some humorous and critical comments. One user wondered how many women would say "forget it" and use the u*****s, referencing Kathryn Hahn's character in the movie "Step Brothers." Another user humorously suggested that a fire hydrant out back could serve as the men's restroom. The practical shift did not sit well with everyone, as one male user humorously expressed his annoyance, saying he'd be super annoyed if he was there spending money and trying to enjoy himself.

The image itself shows a clean, well-lit space with two white interior entrances, grey flooring, and red signs visible inside near the right entrance. A small blue sign with the universal handicap symbol indicates that the restroom is accessible. Despite the unusual setup, the bright lighting and clean appearance seemed to provide a welcoming environment.

This restroom arrangement at the Mitski concert has certainly sparked a conversation about the practicality and fairness of such setups at events with skewed gender demographics. While some see it as a logical solution, others find it odd or inconvenient. What do you think of this approach? Join the discussion and share your thoughts!

Wonder how many women are gonna say "f*** it" and use the u*****s like Kathryn Hahn in Step Brothers.

Fire Hydrant out back for the men

One is for women and the other you go in and say woah, men

Women tend to spend longer in the bathroom and their stalls take up more space. I've heard of a line building up as a result. So it might make sense to have one mens and two womens given the demographics of a certain event.

I went to a kpop concert that had a male artist, and all the bathrooms were converted to women's. The concert staff saw a guy wandering around and pointed in the direction of the bathroom. But I could never find the male one, it was super far away! First instance i felt of gender discrimination but logistically made sense do it this way because the female to male gender ratio of the event was probably like 95:5 lol

If I was at a concert, trying to enjoy myself and spending money to be there, I'd be super annoyed at this lol

I went to a different concert last night and saw this same thing! So weird to see a bunch of u*****s in a “women’s” room. There were only two stalls in it anyway, so I didn’t understand the purpose of the switch. No ladies attempted the u*****s when I was there.
