A recent Reddit post titled "My best friend sent me a picture of something weird on his elbow that he wanted me to look at. My best friend is blind." has captured the internet's attention and sparked a wave of humorous reactions.

The image shared in the post shows a corner of a room featuring a small black refrigerator positioned against a white wall. The refrigerator has a few magnets attached to its upper right corner. Near the base of the refrigerator, there is a small white frame shelf with some fabric drawers. Above the refrigerator, attached to the wall, is a wooden shelf holding various items, including small containers and decorative objects. A cloth or blanket is dr**** on the same wall, possibly part of window curtains or simply hung for storage.

In front of the refrigerator, a pair of athletic shoes are placed on the floor. To the right, an open door leads to another room where a stand fan, a laundry bag, and a towel hanging from another shelving unit are visible. Along the left side of the image, another room can be partially seen, containing a computer setup with a monitor, a desk, and a swivel chair. The carpeting in both rooms is blueish-gray, and the rooms are lit with recessed ceiling lights.

The post has garnered numerous entertaining comments. One user humorously noted, “Your best friend isn’t blind, they are *invisible*,” while another joked, “Go see the doctor immediately. You don’t have an elbow anymore.” Comments continued with light-hearted jabs, such as “I know you're blind man, but you gotta see this” and “Worst case of refrigerator elbow I've ever seen. Your friend needs help.”

Reflecting a mix of humor and genuine concern, one user commented, “You should get that looked at,” and another added, “His elbow might be dislocated.” Some comments offered practical advice, like, “tell him to get a better angle,” and others shared relatable experiences, “My FIL is blind and FaceTimes me all the time asking me what stuff is, none of which is ever in frame.”

One particularly amusing exchange involved a user recounting a story about a coworker signed up to a service where blind individuals can use an app to get help from a seeing person. The user shared, “When she turned on the video call, it was completely dark and when my coworker said he couldn't see anything, she responded, ‘Oh sorry, I usually don't have the lights on.’”

The post also brought attention to the practical aspects of living without sight. As one user pointed out, “Had never really considered this before, but blind people must save a fortune on interior decorating.”

Overall, this Reddit post not only provided a moment of levity but also highlighted the unique challenges and humorous situations faced by those who are visually impaired. The outpouring of comments underscored the supportive and light-hearted nature of the Reddit community in addressing such unique moments.

The thing the fridge is standing on doesn’t look happy with the situation either.

Total aside, one of my coworkers is signed up to a service where blind folks can use an app to get help from a seeing person to help with a task, either through a video call or with in-person help My coworker responded to one helped a lady to help read her mail. When she turned on the video call, it was completely dark and when my coworker said he couldn't see anything, she responded "Oh sorry, I usually don't have the lights on"

Invisible is the word you’re looking for. Your best friend isn’t blind, they are *invisible*.

At least the one photograph in the room is up on a shelf where no one else could see it either
