The internet is having a field day with the latest comic strip from Skeleton Claw, aptly titled "The Perfect Crime." This four-panel masterpiece is taking Reddit by storm, with users chiming in with laughter and witty comments. The comic strip features anthropomorphic fruit characters in a crime scene setting, complete with a red apple cop, a forensic green pear, and a banana peel that plays a pivotal role.

In the first panel, the red apple, donning a police cap and holding a notepad, stands next to the green pear. The apple's furrowed brow and frown set the tone as it exclaims, "IN ALL MY YEARS AS A COP I’VE NEVER SEEN ANYTHING SO AWFUL." The green pear, holding a forensic kit, mirrors the somber mood.

The second panel shifts to reveal the 'victim,' a large red object with its skin removed, lying next to a banana peel. The green pear grimly states, "THE KILLER REMOVED THE VICTIM’S SKIN AND LEFT IT FOR US TO FIND." This dark humor is a hallmark of Skeleton Claw's unique style.

In the third panel, a close-up of the apple's resigned face captures the moment when it says, "SIGH… I’LL GO CALL IT IN." The expression is both humorous and relatable, adding depth to the character.

The fourth panel brings the comic to a entertaining c*****. The apple cop slips on the banana peel, sending its hat and notepad flying. Pain symbols and stars accentuate the sudden and painful fall, drawing a hearty laugh from viewers.

Reddit users have not held back their amusement. Comments like "A very a-peeling death," and "He opened a case" showcase the community's wit. One user shared a funny anecdote about a banana and a cigarette arguing over who has the worse death, adding to the comic's appeal. Another user commented, "Cracked me up! Thanks," while someone else noted, "That got a real LOL out of me. Well done."

The sound effects imagined by users also add to the comic's charm. One user humorously described the cop's fall sound as "Waoouuaaua," akin to a kid's toy noise maker. Another user appreciated the detail of the apple cop's briefcase holding just five loose papers, while a different comment humorously referenced a meat wagon and a new guy puking his guts out.

Skeleton Claw's comic strip has successfully captivated its audience, leaving them in fits of laughter. The clever use of anthropomorphic fruit characters and dark humor, combined with the community's engaging comments, makes "The Perfect Crime" a must-see. I remembered a silly but funny anecdote. A banana and a cigarette arguing over who has the worse death. The banana says that he has the most terrible because it is first skinned alive and then eaten, and the cigarette says that its death is more terrible, the cigarette first burns the head, and then smoked through the a** to keep it burning.

What sound do you imagine the cop makes when he slipped? I hear a "Waoouuaaua" kinda like the sound of one of those kids toys that have some type of noise maker in a tube and it makes this weird sound when you swing it. The thing in the middle moves from one end of the tube to the next which creates the sound.

I love that the apple cop has an entire briefcase for five loose papers.
