The "ADHDinos" comic strip has taken social media by storm, providing a humorous yet insightful glimpse into the daily challenges faced by those with ADHD. This four-panel comic, created by the artist behind the handle "/ADHDinos," effectively captures the often overlooked struggles related to eating habits and the feeling of nausea.

In the top left panel, a light blue dinosaur, looking slightly unwell, is approached by a pink brain-like character with feet. The brain character asks, "What's wrong, Dino? You've barely touched your breakfastlunchdinner." This clever mash-up of meal names humorously highlights how those with ADHD might forget to eat regular meals.

The story continues in the top right panel, where the light blue dinosaur admits, "I just feel a little nauseous, is all." This relatable sentiment resonates with many who experience similar symptoms, whether due to ADHD itself or the medications used to manage it.

In the bottom left panel, the brain character, understanding yet resigned, responds with, "Fair enough." This simple yet profound exchange underscores the complex relationship between ADHD and eating habits.

Finally, in the bottom right panel, the characters return to their original positions, and the brain character reveals the heart of the issue: "We haven’t eaten a thing in 24 hours." This concluding statement sheds light on the reality of how ADHD can disrupt even the most basic daily routines, such as eating.

Underneath the panels, the comic strip is branded with "ADHDinos," and icons for Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and Reddit suggest the wide reach and popularity of this relatable content.

User comments on Reddit reflect a mix of empathy, personal experience, and appreciation for the humor and accuracy of the comic. One user remarked, "It be like that some days," while another shared, "When you're so busy surviving and you forget to eat, Jesus." These comments highlight the shared experiences of those with ADHD and the broader community's understanding.

Some users also discussed the medical and psychological aspects, with one asking, "Is this common with ADHD? Or is it more because of the meds?" This question opens up a dialogue about the intersection of ADHD symptoms and the side effects of medication.

Others found solace in the comic's humor, despite its serious undertones. A user noted, "It's funny to see all the people not get it, while I'm sitting here having had only a cup of coffee all day."

The "ADHDinos" comic strip not only entertains but also educates, fostering a sense of community and understanding among those with ADHD and beyond. It's a testament to the power of humor in addressing and normalizing everyday struggles.

I was half-expecting the brain to be pedantic and say, "Actually, you feel *nauseated*..." (The distinction between the two has thankfully been deemed mostly archaic)

I mean, who has time to prepare food more than once a day?

I don't understand either the intention or where the comedy is.

Oh, no wonder I felt like I was on a streak when I was experimenting with some religious fasting schedules. This was also when I realized that hunger pains could be risky due to them "feeling good" after awhile.

I keep a cheap chicken pot pie in the freezer for these emergencies. I can usually resign myself to choking one of these bland things down even when the thought of food is disgusting. Besides, it's kind of fun to pick the peas out and feed them to my dog.
