A recently resurfaced clip from Call of Duty (COD) has taken Reddit by storm, bringing back a flood of memories for gamers around the world. The video, now 17 years old, captures a moment of classic COD gameplay that has left many in awe of how much time has passed. Originally from Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (COD4), the clip is a testament to the golden era of first-person shooters.

One of the standout moments in the video is when the player almost forgets to teabag the corpse, a move that has become synonymous with online multiplayer gaming. This act of mockery is a hallmark of the Xbox 360 era, a time when the gaming community was at its peak. A Reddit user reminisced, "Time to take your daily vitamins boys, we just got old."

The nostalgia doesn't end there. Another user shared a personal story from Black Ops 1, where they found a s***** in the prone position and spent two minutes t********* him before delivering the final headshot. The incident was recorded using Black Ops 1's theater mode and sent to the victim's gamer profile. "Xbox 360 was the wild west of gaming," they added.

The clip also sparked a debate about the evolution of gaming. Some users pointed out the differences in gameplay mechanics and graphics between COD4 and its successors. "MW2 was peak COD," one user declared, emphasizing how Modern Warfare 2 combined all the good elements from COD4 while introducing new, albeit unbalanced, features that players both loved and hated. Another user commented on the graphical fidelity of games from that era, noting how games have evolved over the years but have also become more focused on photorealism rather than artistic creativity.

For many, the clip is a reminder of a simpler time in gaming. "Xbox Live was the peak gaming community," one commenter noted, reminiscing about the days when voice messages were more common than text messages. "When COD was good," another user chimed in, lamenting the current state of games which they feel are filled with unnecessary features.

The video has not only reignited fond memories but also highlighted the sense of community that existed among gamers during the Xbox 360 era. "The teabag - chef's kiss," one user quipped, appreciating the classic move that defined an entire generation of gamers. Another user fondly remembered their favorite FPS game, COD4, stating that they logged more than a year's worth of playing time between its release and 2013.

In the end, this 17-year-old clip serves as a powerful reminder of the enduring impact of games like COD4 and MW2. It has sparked conversations about the evolution of gaming, the sense of community that once existed, and the memories that will forever be cherished by those who experienced the golden age of first-person shooters.

I once found a guy sniping in the prone position on Black ops 1 in a house on the edge of the map so I got on top of him and teabagged him for 2 minutes straight before spinning around a bunch and shooting him in the head. Black ops 1 had the theater mode so i clipped it and sent it to his gamer profile. Xbox 360 was the wild west of gaming

Imagine, a vast majority of people who will watch this today were ether not born, or not even forming their first sentences yet.

Correction, the clip was taken in MW2 which 15 years old, but the map is originally from CoD4 which is 17 years old.

MW2 was peak COD, idc what anyone says. It had all the good stuff from COD4 but it added unbalanced s*** that people hated and loved at the same time. It was like a drug.
