Does this happen to you? Do you have cookware in your kitchen that just doesn't get the job done? A recent image shared on Reddit under the title "Does this happen to you?" hilariously captures the moments when kitchen equipment fails to meet our expectations.

The image is a GIF featuring a woman in a quaint kitchen setting. With short, blond hair, she is intensely focused on her task at the counter. As she pulls a pot from the oven with an oven glove, it becomes evident that she's struggling because the pot is comically oversized or stuck. The surrounding cabinets and a window with red plaid curtains letting in daylight add to the cozy yet humorous atmosphere.

Many users on Reddit could relate to this kitchen dilemma. One user commented, "God I hate it when that happens," while another shared, "Pretty much all my Walmart cookware does this." It seems that a lot of people have had similar experiences with their kitchenware. Some even found a humorous take on the situation, with one comment reading, "Ah, so that's what happened in Chernobyl!" and another joking, "Damn it! Marty how many times do I have to tell you not to let Doc store his Plutonium Rods for his Flux Capacitor in your car!"

This relatable moment sparked a variety of reactions. One user humorously noted, "Boy! That escalated really quickly!" while another quipped, "Boy, if I had a nickel..." The GIF also inspired some practical advice, such as a pro tip from a user who explained how to make a stainless steel pan nonstick by utilizing the Leidenfrost effect.

In the end, the image serves as a light-hearted reminder that kitchen mishaps are a common occurrence and that sometimes, laughter is the best way to deal with them. Salute to all the women and men dealing with oversized, stuck pots on a daily basis!

Pro tip for people who have trouble with proteins sticking in stainless steel cookware: heat stainless steel pan on high heat, drizzle a few drops of water into it, the water should bounce around the pan like droplets of mercury, that called the Leidenfrost effect, at that point turn down the heat to medium, get rid of the water droplets, add only enough oil to thinly coat the whole pan, congratulations, now you have a nonstick stainless steel pan.
